2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 Christian (8548) - Odense, - MAY 24, 2007
Dark brown with a disappearing off-white head. Caramel and weak toffee aroma. Sweet caramel flavour and absolutely no aftertaste.
Not really a scwarzbier, not really a porter, not really interesting.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20 Dango (26) - Snekkersten, DENMARK - OCT 9, 2008
I liked this. The malty tastes actually reminds me of the danish west coast and Fanø. Lots of personality. The head has structure, the colour is dark brown. The taste is complex malty and roasted, with some strange tastes I cant place. The aroma also has some of this strangeness - a bit like wet dog I thought. But not bad at all.
2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 aru (105) - Smørum, DENMARK - OCT 5, 2008
This was on tap at Carina and Henrik’s wedding so I had plenty of it!! From what I remember it comes out very dark with a medium size brown head. The taste is rich, but the finer details are unfortunately lost in a fainting memory.

On DFDS Ferry Dana Sirena, heading from Harwich to Esbjerg 10-09-08 Pours dark brown moving to light chestnut at edges. Med’ carbonation slight off white head soft in mouth, bitterness only shows towards end, good gentle roastedness over enthusiastic chilling has rather blunted the aroma. My first taste of Danish prices as this was £5.73 a bottle, gulp, good job I liked it.
