Bottle 33 cl, Ölbutikken. Pours cloudy copper amber with a huge yellowish beige head leaving nice lace. Aroma is intense piny malty citric sweet and caramel. Steady caramel malty body with lots of citric and tropical fruits in front, getting really sweet and piny pungent in the middle sustaining almost all the flavors to the end with increasing bitterness. Finishes longlived bitter citric, fruity and with a good warming alcohol sense.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
330 ml bottle. BBE 20.03.2013.
Pours a slightly unclear copper orange colour with a white head. Aroma of floral hops, citrus, caramel and some alcohol. Flavour of strong floral hops, grains, malts, exotic fruits, weak lemon, grapefruit, very sweet caramel and some solvent-like alcohol. Full bodied, thick and dry mouthfeel. Finishes fruity, floral, very bitter and warming. Not as good as the previous Pikkulintu Triple IPA, which had more citrusy hops and a heavier body. Alcohol was well hidden, but now it comes through. Nonetheless quite a package.

Bottle, at home sitting in front of computer, inside temperature is 21°C, outside approx. 11°C and windy. Light rain. Desk a bit messy, papers from CBF 2012. .. ?... oh, the beer? Dark golden coloured and hazy. Has a huge, lasting head, fully lasting. Harmonic aroma, hoppy, citrus, fruit and herbs. Some malty sweetness too and yeast too perhaps. Flavor starts light to moderate sweetness, malt. Then lots of bitterness. Dry, creamy texture and soft carbonation.
Oh, it’s going to be a rerate, ended on 0.5, forgot to put in the figures. Now, that’s better.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
En trevlig IPA med doft och smak tropisk frukt, mango, honung. Relativt söt men som bryts med en trevlig markant beska. Det som drar ner betyget är att alkoholen slår igenom en aning för mycket.

4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Draught at Fermentoren. Vibrant orange with lots of white lacing. Smells nicely piney and floral. One sip it all it takes to realise the wonderful consistency of this beer. It’s big and thick but goes down super easy and no trace of alcohol. Starts with an initial sweetness with peach, citrus and all manner of sugary goodness mingling on the tongue before unleashing a wonderful wave of bitterness as it finishes. Excellent stuff.
