Bottle, 11%. Powerful hop aroma, grapefruit and mango with a hint of urine. Cloudy dark grey copper colour. Good stable off-white head. The flavour is very bitter with some alcohol bitterness. Followed by a rather sweet note and later yet alcohol burn. It is quite extreme with bitterness and alcohol, but there is some citrus fruit in the hoppiness. The bitter finish gets a bit much rather quickly. A good beer, but in small quantities.

330 ml bottle kindly shared by Holmen1. Pours an inch thick off-white head over a clear orange body. Sprucy pollen and tropical fruits on the nose. Full bodied. Sweet and bitter in a decent balance which seems important to master in these ranges. The finish lasts long and there is alco warmth too.

Drunk in a snifter at BrauKunstLive! 2013 in München, Germany. Pikkulintu IPA was maybe one of the best of the day. You could taste the Citra and Simcoe hops clear as a bell, and at 11%, the alcohol was really well hidden. A WOW beer.

Pour is dark cloudy orange with a thick white head and some large bubbles. Nose has sticky caramel and toasted grains with a hop punch behind of grassy and citrusy hops. Taste is large, tons of burnt grains and sticky caramel, slightly oxidized, less grassy but still a citrus punch behind. Body is thick and syrupy with an assertive carbonation. Not completely pulled together but not bad.

Orange-yellow with a white head. Aroma is papaya, oranges and bread. Flavor is very similar with a low amount of bitterness. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation.

330ml bottle from Ølbutikken, Copenhagen. Shared back home with Finn. Concrete, frothy near-white head covering an apricot coloured, cloud bank body. Sparse lacing. Citrus and citrus peels to the nose. Sappy mid-sweet fruity taste of apricot, peaches and forest fruits. Prolonged bittersweet ending. Masked alcohol. Fine bodied. Tasty, maybe a little too much on the sweet side (Tromsø, 30.04.2013).

Bottle: Thanks Papsø: Sick, 11%alcohol TIPA... Medium sized, airy on top and vast beneath, creamy foamy head. Changes slowly into Hazy amber orange colored beer. The aroma’s are a mix of hops, malts, creamy oatmeal, creamy peach, some chalky citrus and hints of vanilla, carbo gass, flowers, alcohol and herbs. flavours are chalk, malts, hops, bitter, spicy (alcohol, but it’s spicy and not the alcohol taste), milk chocolate, floral malts, cream, plant and floral bitters. Aftertate is strong bitter and spicy with hints of floral tones, malts and hops. Low carbo, soft smooth but mouthfeel, full burning body and a creamy texture. I am not a big fan of DIPA’s and TIPA’s but this one has something interesting in the taste. But on the other hand still a bit strong and weird.

Bottled. Heavily hopped but rather sweet DIPA. Berryish yeast notes, jam-like grapefruity hops. Heavy maltiness, a bit sugary. Heavy bitterness. Almost full bodied, slightly oily body.
