bartlebier (2491) - Belchium im Biersgau, GERMANY - FEB 5, 2015
Surprisingly on very fresh tap@Grincheux, Strasbourg 01/2015. Smooth Ruby-brown pour. Aromas of stone fruit, mango, redwood remain intimations, before being dampened by a pinesap lid. Flavour is contained & unfathomable at first: berry boughs, twigs, woodiness, ¿Rye? Centennial earsmear hop bitterness is well cushioned, but peirces through in the finish. Green twigs and young honey abound.

Kopparfärgad med stort ljusbrunt skum. Mycket karamellmalt i både doft och smak men även humle som gör den fräsch! Inte så mycket beska och mer som en brown ale

yngwie (14937) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - NOV 8, 2014
Bottle, at Kick. It’s an almost clear one, dark amber in color and with a dense finger thick beige head. The aroma is piney and citrus peel like, with malts in the back, some caramel. Bread. Bitter flavor on a malty backbone. Pine cones, resins and bread. Full body and a pleasant carbonation level. Lasting finish. Too malty for me this one, and perhaps a bit old. Not past bb date though. 141108

330 ml bottle @ Kick. Unclear dark amber body with a medium sized off-white head. Aroma has malt, bread and ripe fruit. Flavor is sweet malty, moderate fruity and some bitterness. Tastes lighter and more fruity than indicated by the aroma. Medium body and moderate in aftertaste. OK, malt based (I)PA, but nothing outstanding here.
