Bottle, 6.5%. Roasted aroma, sweet liquorice. Cloudy very dark brown colour. Almost no head, but I guess it is brownish. Good sweet liquorice flavour with some alcohol burn and a good smoke note. Flavourful, yet well-balanced.

Bottle 500ml.

Clear medium to dark brown amber colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, light beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, sweet malt, smoke. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, smoked, wood smoke, sweet fruit, caramel. Nice balanced a bit sweet but works okay even with the smoke, where i normal not like the sweet smoke thing ! Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20121107]

500 ml bottle @ Konttori, Tampere.
Pours a deep brown amber colour and a firm white head. Aroma of smoke, tar, leather and licorice. Flavour of roasted malts, smoke, licorice, some weak sourish notes and bread. Medium bodied, oily and maybe a bit thin mouthfeel and a warming, salty, malty finish. Enjoyable.

(Bottle, 0.5 l, at Oluttupa Viisi Penniä, 20130112) The beer poured dark brown and clear. Its head was medium szied and almost white. Aroma had smoke, molasses and malts. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were smoke, molasses, malts, hops and bitterness. Aftertaster was smoky, sweet and lightly bitter. Less sweetness woule have resulted in a better beer but this one is good, too.
