BBD: 26-02-2015.
In short: a subtle sour stout.
Pours black with nice tan head. Short head retention, poor lacing. Roasty, chocolate, creamy, coffee and liquorice aromas. Medium body, average carbonation, oily texture. Taste is smooth, roasty, subtle sour and lactic notes, some burnt caramel, chocolate. Pleasant and enjoyable.

Pours black with a bit flimsy feel to it. Good chocolate, vanilla and roasty coffee flavors on top of a sweet finish. A little watery in the mouthfeel, after taste, but all in all a lovely experience.

berlinoise2go (608) - NORWAY - MAR 28, 2014
Bottle (50cl) from Vinmonopolet (Storo), Oslo. Very dark brown/black colour. Finger-thick beige head, reduces fairly quickly to a thin film and a thick ring with a small amount of lacing. Quite sharp aroma of chocolate, coffee, wood, licorice, acidic fruit, sweet milk, vegetables. Medium body, soft/flat carbonation, mouthfeel is a bit thin. Taste is surprisingly fruity and acidic, to some degree balanced by lactic/chocolate sweetness, but leaving a somewhat off-balance overall impression. Fairly dry finish.

ej (695) - Hauglandshella, NORWAY - FEB 27, 2014
Pours a very dark and very lively, producing a huge and bubbly dark tanned head that subsides rather quickly. An almost stinging aroma with wood, roast and some fruity vinous notes. Taste has light sweetness but finishes on the bitter side. Roasty, almost to a point where it sours, some notes of coffee and chocolate as well. light to medium bodied
