Bottle at home, pre honeymoon bedtime beer thanks to an IP trade with Jan, 15/04/14. Lightly hazed dark amber/chestnut brown with a well appointed beige covering that dissipates in its own good time. Nose is stinking brett, caramel fudge, light poo, woody tones, bitter orange marmalade, straw, damp flannel. Taste comprises bitter stoned fruit, dank tones, bretty pa pangs, light acidity, bitter oange marmalade - kind of gone off having left the lid ajar, tarte fruit, raisens. Medium bodied, fine carbonation big brett load and tangy fruit in a semi drying close. Solid brett forward sour.

Bottle. Hazy hazelnut brown with a medium sized diminishing off white head. Pretty heavy nose with lots of leathery brett and barrel. The flavour has some lactic notes, sour berries, fruit stack, light citrus, oak, lots of leathery brett and horse. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation. Medium sweet with little bitterness but has a nice level of acidity to challenge the sweetness. Long lasting finish, dry and very light astringent with barrel notes and brett. Damn.

Very Thin beige head which comes with a short fruity and lambic flavor. Very pleasant. Bordeaux/brown body. Taste of "duchesse de Bourgogne" with less bitterness. Excellent balance. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle @ Kick mat & Malt. Unclear reddish/orange body with a thin off-white head. Very nice aroma of acidic red berries, farmhouse funk and a bit vinous. Flavor is refreshing fruity, vinous, medium acidic and hint of wood. Nice and balanced body, long acidic vinous aftertaste. A nice one, especially in the nose, but somewhere about halfway through the bottle it’s losing some of the fascinating and I realize this is not among the best Belgium originals. Still a nice one.

Frisk duft av syrlige frukter. Dunkel gulbrun farge.. Høyt trykk i flaske og mye karbonering ved åpning. Mye skum som forsvinner raskt til bare litt langs kant. God syrlig smak.

DAA; Pours cloudy cobber with off-white creamy head. Aroma is vinegar, sour, fruity, malty and caramell. Taste mirrors. Medium body, crispy texture. Interresting, with a dry acid finish.

Sour berrys. Tart. Barn. Brown reddish. Small white head. Taste is sour. Can feel the wine barrel.. Nicely bqlqnced. Not so much the brettanomycis or the farmhouse. Wine barrel is very much there. Hard to understand how they made this from the back of the bottle. Mystery

Bottle. Pours dark brown with a small head. Aroma is sweet with lot of fruit and honey, as well as a fruity sourness from apples and hay, and notes of wood and balsamic vinegar. Rather light body with a creamy texture and normal carbonation. Flavour is sour with funky and woody notes of oak barrels, wine grapes, dark cherries and berries.
