19-SEP-2014, bottle @home, from Kihoskh. Hazy borwn with low off-white head. Aroma is tart - already when oppening the bottle. Wood, , red wine, balsamico, brett, Coca Cola. Taste the same. Tart, medium body, soft carbonation. Quite full body for a sour actually. Touch of sweetness. Really well-made Flemmish Brown.

9, 11, 11, 12, 11, 11 - 10,95

Bottle. Dark amber with small pale brown head. Aroma red wine, sour notes. Taste sour and fresh fruits. Finish dry, grapefruit and bitter. I´m not too fund of sour ales and don´t like grapefruits, so not a beer for me.

At a tasting, thanks Eurosanta, smallish cramy head, , very hazy dark orange colour, aroma of wood, with lemon and vinegar, aroma of wood with wine notes, red wine vinegar and plums, suprisingly strong bitterness, mellow medium sourness. Very nicely balanced, highly enjoyable.

Bottle at home, pre honeymoon bedtime beer thanks to an IP trade with Jan, 15/04/14. Lightly hazed dark amber/chestnut brown with a well appointed beige covering that dissipates in its own good time. Nose is stinking brett, caramel fudge, light poo, woody tones, bitter orange marmalade, straw, damp flannel. Taste comprises bitter stoned fruit, dank tones, bretty pa pangs, light acidity, bitter oange marmalade - kind of gone off having left the lid ajar, tarte fruit, raisens. Medium bodied, fine carbonation big brett load and tangy fruit in a semi drying close. Solid brett forward sour.
