Fad: Ravfarvet klar øl med et lille skumhoved. Duften er let balsamico. Vinen kan kun anes, men det kan være et pus. Smagen sidder lige i skabet. Passende sur og super kompleks. Meget amerikansk i sit udtryk hvilket er lækkert. Super øl.

Bottle, bought @ Fanø.
Pours clear amber with a lovely, staying, creamy, off-white to yellowish head. Aroma has red wine, grapes, caramel, light doughy, clear strawberry jam, funk and mild tartness. Medium carbonation, lively yet creamy mouthfeel. Flavour is pleasantly tart, funky, blue grapes, strawberries, horse blanket, plums. Dry and mildly oaky with just a slight metallic edge (that disappears after a short while). Really lovely.

Bottle. Hazy hazelnut brown with a medium sized diminishing off white head. Pretty heavy nose with lots of leathery brett and barrel. The flavour has some lactic notes, sour berries, fruit stack, light citrus, oak, lots of leathery brett and horse. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation. Medium sweet with little bitterness but has a nice level of acidity to challenge the sweetness. Long lasting finish, dry and very light astringent with barrel notes and brett. Damn.

Very Thin beige head which comes with a short fruity and lambic flavor. Very pleasant. Bordeaux/brown body. Taste of "duchesse de Bourgogne" with less bitterness. Excellent balance. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

At a tasting, thanks Eurosanta, smallish cramy head, , very hazy dark orange colour, aroma of wood, with lemon and vinegar, aroma of wood with wine notes, red wine vinegar and plums, suprisingly strong bitterness, mellow medium sourness. Very nicely balanced, highly enjoyable.

19-SEP-2014, bottle @home, from Kihoskh. Hazy borwn with low off-white head. Aroma is tart - already when oppening the bottle. Wood, , red wine, balsamico, brett, Coca Cola. Taste the same. Tart, medium body, soft carbonation. Quite full body for a sour actually. Touch of sweetness. Really well-made Flemmish Brown.

On tap at CBC, Copenhagen. Clear brown beer, pale tan head. Light crisp palate. Minerally crisp. Light sourness, like a Duchesse but not quite as sour as that beer. Pleasantly tart. Light Worcester sauce. Crisp minerally finish. Original rating 3.5

ChrisOs Marvellous Pre GBBF Mega Tasting. Very hazy amber beer, little pale tan head. Smooth palate. Nice tangy dried fruits come red wine and red berries. Smooth mild vanilla wood. Smooth finish with a nice winey tang in the aftertaste. Like this!
