Pours a clear and brown beer with a beige head. The aroma is malt, caramel, bread, burnt notes ans some fruit. The flavor follow the nose. The palate is sweetness. Overall a good and very well-balanced beer.

Flaske 500ml fra Vinmonopolet, Bestillingsutvalget. Ekstremt mørk amber. Egentlig svart. Middels høyt luftig skum med litt farge. Aroma av røstet malt & fjøs. Fjøspreget fortsetter over til smaken men overtar heldigvis av kaffe. Forvirrende øl. Ubalansert. Veksler mellom godt & dårlig. Ettersmaken er f.eks. helt ok.

Bottle. Dark amber body, small beige head. Aroma is malty with a light roastness, dark fruits. Sweet caramel taste, slightly alcoholic, herbs, cocoa. Dry palate with hints of anise in the finish. Solid but doesn’t stand out in any way.

Sample from bottle, tasted a bit too warm. Fairly dark brown ale, distinctly malty but medium dry, with more pronounced roasty notes than many other brown ales. Also fairly decent hops, slightly spicy finish. Will re-rate when I get a full bottle.

Superbe robe marron-bordeux.

Bottle shared with ClubGonzo. Has a deep brown colour, with a medium beige head. The aroma is sweet with a touch of meat, cheese, pepper and brown malt. Funnily. The taste has more roasted malt and leather, as well as tree and still spicy meat. Has a smooth mouthfeel and a light bitterness. This is a beer that is hard to place, but is interesting and straightforward.

Bottle, shared with Foffern. Pours a deep brown body with a medium creamy off-white head. Aroma is peppery grainy notes, ripe cheese, caramel, syrup and hints of sulfur and spices. Strange. Taste is sweet grains, malt extract, syrup, hints of grassy herbs and nuts. Hard to define, but not bad at all. Thick, velvety mouthfeel with medium carbonation. Strange brew, but pretty decent.
