Originally brewed in 2009, brought back by popular demand for the first time since 2012. Brewed with the assistance of Fanø’s Oyster King, Jesper Voss. A traditional British Stout, with strong roasted malt character and hints of coffee and caramel. Brewed with both oyster liquor and whole oysters from the Wadden Sea gives this full bodied beer the unique aroma of the ocean with a slightly savory mineral finish.

500 ml bottle. BB 03/2013. (K-Citymarket) Jyväskylä, Finland.
Black colour with small to average sized bubbly brown head. Cookies, roasted malt, coffee and chocolate in the aroma. The flavour is also rather coffee infused. There’s roasted malt, ash, mild saltiness, dark chocolate and more coffee. Even if I don’t like coffee this is rather drinkable. Very dry flavour. Tasty and balanced for a 3.7% brew.
