On tap. Very nice and appreciable beer. Easy to drink, not too much complex, Amber cloudy colour, compact froth, not too much persistent and hoppy taste. Light and refreshing. Very good! Fruit, spicy and malt taste.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle. It’s an almost clear one, golden in color and with a big dense, lasting, off-white head leaving lacings. The aroma is of course of the hoppy kind, orange, grapefruit, pine cones and faint hints of cat pee. Not much evidence of the malts. Flavorwise it’s nicely bitter, with citrus and pine cones, and a little biscuity maltyness. Medium to full body, bitter finish. Tasteful, and very quaffable. 100827

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
On tap at Ma Che Siete Venuti a Fa, Rome. Amber with white head. A really rather intense, dry bitterness, quite hoppy in nature with a spruce, woody note, sharp and leafy. There is a grainy note in the body. Another great beer in this wonderful pub.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle. Pours a clear bronze with a rocky tan coloured head. Lots of lacing. Aromas are doinated by sweet malt, yeast and faint citrusy hops. Flavours are once again dominated by the malt with plenty of caramel sweetness. Some resiny hops near the end. Finish is not overally bitter. Medium mouthfeel. OK beer though nothing to really stand out.
