Bottle. Pours black with a brown head. Notes of smoke, wood and coffee. Notes of roasted marshmallows, chocolate, thyme?, mint, and vanilla in taste. Creamy and smooth texture. The smoothness and spiciness reminds me of stouts from Struise.

Bottle from Olbutikken. Opaque black beer. Huge thick dark tan head. Palate is soft and a little dry. Soft dark malt, a whisper of coffee plus that weird emulsion paint vibe I sometimes get from BA beers. Unsweet dark chocolate. Soft mellow smoke - well integrated. Finishes soft with a dark malt linger (not bitter).

mjs (4438) - Helsinki, FINLAND - MAY 18, 2012
(Draught at Pikkulintu, 20120518) The beer poured black. Its head was medium sized and light brown. Aroma had roasted malts, liquorice, smoke and hops. Palate was full bodied, warming and oily with medium carbonation. Flavours were roasted malts, smoke, smoked ham, alcohol, liquorice and bitterness. Aftertaste was smoky, quite burning and bitter. A confusing beer. It burnt like chilli and still tasted good.
