Bottle (330 ml). Black with a huge thick dark brown head and little lacing. Aroma is an interesting mix of vinous notes, roasted malt, liquorice and dark chocolate hints of smoke. Taste is also of roasted malt, dark chocolate, vinous/fruity notes, light smoked and light bitterness. Medium/full body. Moderate carbonation. Slightly vinous mouthfeel. Light alcohol warming in the finish. Interesting because it’s not a sweetness bomb and there’s a nice balance between the vinous and roasty presence. Quite tasty.

A pitch black beer with a beautiful, dense, big and dark brown head. The nose is powerfull, lots of salt liquirice, liquirice, roastiness, some smoke and also hint of sweet fruitness. The great and intensive aroma. Taste of salt liquirice, chocolate, roastiness, lots of balanced sweetness, some coffee. Full bodied, smooth and pleasant to drink, slightly sticky end. Tastefull beer, easy to drink. Great.

Black with minimal beige head. Aroma is smoky, roasted, vinous. Complex flavour: espresso bitterness at first, then a little dried fruit, malt, chocolate and smoke. Warming alcohol finish, slightly boozy and dry. Good stuff.

Taste is licorice, dark chocolate, leather, dark sugars, caramel and hints of walnuts and coffee. Medium to full body, soft to medium carbonation. Leads to meaty smoke lasting long into the finish with some roasted notes. Full body, fat creamy texture, soft carbonation, near heavy sweet and not much bitterness, ends quite soft. Great.
