Ungstrup (11385), Frederiksberg, Denmark Aug 12, 2007 Bottled. A murky orange-brown beer with a thin off-white head. The aroma is acidic with notes of white wine, malt, and grapefruit. The flavor is sweet and acidic at the same time with primary notes of white wine, leading to a dry acidic end. Papsoe (10551), Frederiksberg, Denmark Oct 2, 2007 (Bottle 75 cl) Courtesy of Grovlam. Very hazy - almost muddy - amber colour with a tiny, off-white head. Floral and herbal nose - some camomile perhaps - and a whiff of honey. Medium body and a somewhat astringent, quinine-like bitterness but then a gain rather fresh flower notes. There’s an underlying tartness in there as with most Fantômes. And weird as most Fantômes but at least quite drinkable. 280907 yespr (6943), Copenhagen O, Denmark Oct 5, 2007 75 cL bottle, thanks to Grovlam. Pours hazy amber deep orange with a lacing white head. Roasted malty aroma. Flavour is slight sour and slight malty too. Ends slight citric. Slight grainy note and somewhat yeasty in the finish. joergen (6529), Frederiksberg, Denmark Oct 3, 2007 Bottle.

Fruity aroma with notes of spices and yeast.
The flavour is dominated by yeast with notes of spices, fruits and hops.
Yeasty finish. oh6gdx (6343), Vaasa, Finland Aug 19, 2007 Bottled. Amber colour, mediumsized head. Aroma is earthy, barnyardy, mustardy and malty. Flavour is very much but much more sour than the aroma would let know. Long sour and earthy aftertaste.
