750 ml bottle from the Bayou. Pours a cloudy orange color with a medium white head. A aggressive spicy nose, hops and funky notes. The flavor is nice; rich spicy tart fizziness, funky, citrus and light yeast. Sweet and tart.

Bottle 750ml. @ home.
Clear medium red amber color with a large, fizzy, good lacing, mostly lasting, light beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, caramel, moderate to heavy yeasty leather - wood, medicine - gauze, horse stable. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, medicine - gauze. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to lively. [20091128]

Bottle split with Dallas. Pours a beautiful hazy, honey amber body with tons of sediment and a nice, small white head. Aroma is slight skunk, slight sour fruit, funky farmhouse notes. The taste is slightly bitter, with notes of farmhouse funk.

pours a dark honey amber with a settling foam head. smells slightly saisonish. taste is darker than i expected. slightly malty flavor with some floral hops and a hint of tartness. every flavor is kind of fighting for dominance.

750mL into tulip. Pours a beautiful hazy orange with a moderately thick and pillowy off-white head that has good retention and leaves huge lace poofs. Aroma is a but metallic, some sour peach, mustiness, dried apricots. Taste at first is a little off: sort of vinegary, watery. I’m guessing this is a true saison to be savored on a hot day working on the farm. It is 8% but it is so light-bodied, slightly sour, and refreshing that you can drink it dangerously quick.

Hazy, light copper color. Minimal head, dissipates quixkly. Minimal nose! WYF? Some malt detected but that’s it! (Could it be because this is following SH Cuvee Des Fleurs?) Light to medium mouthfeel/ Dry and astringent finish, but not unpleasurable. "Lagerish". "Bitterish". I want to like it more.
