3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle at Exira Beer Summit IV. Pours a hazy golden orange color with white head. Barnyard, dusty, hay, slight mint aromas. Dusty, horseblanket, hay flavors. Not as good as I was expecting.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours hazy yellow / orange with a small white head. The aroma is very floral, herbal and earthy with dry toasty malt, some fruitiness and hints of funk. The malt comes across smooth enough to be mistaken for a lager. It has a medium smooth body at first, then graininess hits and lots of gentle carbonation. The flavor begins with spicy / herbal notes, earthiness, toasty malt, chamomile and mild fruit. The finish is very bright and grape-like. Very nicely done.

3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle @ Exira Beer Summit IV, Day 3. Thanks to jcnielsen! Pours a hazy, bright yellow orange appearance with a white head. Very floral, grainy, huge corn crib/musty, cobweb, citrusy, dusty aroma. Very funky, very husky grainy, grassy, tart tropical fruity/pineapple, incredibly dusty flavor. I’m sad to say that this one was a serious disappointment.

750ml corked and capped green bottle served in a Tank 7 tulip. Pours a hazy gold with a thin white head. Lots of citrus in the aroma. Light bodied with a good amount of carbonation. More citrus in the flavor, also some noble hops. Very refreshing and drinkable. Lots of yeast in the bottom.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
75cl bottle shared by Erwin van Moll @ Van Moll Brewpub. Opaque murky yellow to slight orange color, small white head. Smell and taste malts, brett, yeast, fruitpeel, oranges. Lightly dry finish, medium body, soft carbonation. Not bad for a Fantome.

3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Corked bottle and served in a funky tulip: Pours a hazy golden hue with an initially large fizzy head that faded leaving spotty lace. The aroma has notes of light cat piss, tangerines, bananas, clove, pils and biscuity malts along with some developing cream cheese. The taste is more of the same, light funk and barnyard over a layer of basic malts with some nice fruity components. Soft grainy finish with a touch of spicy notes. For a Fantome Saison I thought this was pretty clean and short with a pronounced hop note no doubt the influence of Mr Shaun E Hill. Honestly as I drank this I thought ...okay Fantome yeast but HF malt and hops notes. Really it is okay but nothing I would want again, not at that price.

750 ml corked and capped bottle poured into a Hill Farmstead wine glass. Pours a copper color with no head. I get some funky green apple and some berry notes. Dry and musty. Mediocre at best.
