Pours a cloudy, bright golden orange color with apricot hues. Completely still and even a very aggressive pour yields only the slightest bubbles that quickly fade into a vanishing thin ring. No lace. Herbal, phenolic aroma with earthy flowers and a strong musty funky/wild yeast presence. Slightly soily and earthy with damp, rotted wood, wild mushroom and decaying flower petals along with light and citrus fruit esters. Subtle peppery spice as well. Weird but I sort of find it oddly appealing. Light bodied and almost flat with faint carbonation and a very unpleasant dirty, phenolic flavor dominating the palate. Rubber band and band aid notes are prominent along with subtle spice, dead/dirty flowers and bong water along with bread, green apple and banana. Dry and somewhat chalky in the finish with a strong dirt/phenolic, rotten yeast presence killing off most of the flavor. Very harsh and tough to drink. A complete mess of a beer to be brutally honest.

Originally reviewed 10/28/2013. 750 mL bottle poured into a snifter. Gushes instantly. Pours with an equal quantity of foam as beer. Great retention. Pretty orange body with a reddish hue. And it smells odd. Citrus. Caramel malts. Smokey aroma. Slight acidity. And it tastes even more odd. Citrus tang. Flavor drops off in the middle and comes back with a smokey and kinda plasticky flavor. Medium low body. High carbonation. Funny aftertaste. A strange concoction. Not sure it deserves the hate it gets, but it is weird.

This poured a light orange color with a white head. Aroma was of Brett, light rubbery smoke. Flavor was light tart and funk mixed with smoked malt.

Bottle thanks to Diego. Pours a cloudy gold with small off white head that diminishes to nothing. The aroma is strong funk, lemon zest, and spice. Medium mouth, nice funk, spice, lemon, light dryness, good.

Hazy cloudy in the glass. The beer is smooth and fresh sourish. Nice Farmhouse flavour, sourish yeasty, smooth. The body is fresh, smooth. Hints of yeasty sweetness with funky sourish farmhouse aroma. On the tongue remains a funky yeasty sweetish-sour and smooth-mild aroma. Nice.

Bottle. Belgiuminabox. Hazy gold. Thin, white head. Sweet malts, akin to pilsner malts. Some funk. Some lemon. Light smoke. Taste is tart. Light dry. Soft, airy palate, which is the best element of this beer. Finishes dry, and light bitter. On the whole, though, this is utterly underwhelming.

Bottle. Hazy golden color, white head. Aroma of peppery, dusty, rotted lemons. Taste is earthy and spiced citrus. Interesting.
