Bottle at Theis and Mette tasting. It pours a hazy golden colour with a white head. Aroma is orange zest, grape, lemon, pepper and yeast. Flavour is dry grape, pepper and yeast. Very refreshing.

Pours a clear and golden beer with a white head. The aroma is malt, caramel and hops with citrus and grapefruit. The flavor follows the nose. The palate is bitterness with notes of sweetness. Overall a good beer.

Pours folden with a white head. Aroma is malt, perfume, flower and pepper. Flavour is malt, citrus, peach, perfume, flower, spice and pepper.

A murky orange pour with a small off-white head. Opens with bread and caramel aromas followed by a strong citrus peel note. There’s a hint of lemon and a light tartness to it. Quite a bit of spice and a bit of a mustiness to it. The flavor is quite sweet, but still retains a nice funk character and a moderate spice.

Pours clearish yellow, white head, low retention. Aroma is strangely spicey, barnyardy, and fruity all at the same time. Flavor shows some grass, hay, barnyard, tropical fruit, and pepper. In great shape for being 4 or 5 years old.

Bottled. Cloudy golden, faint head. Funky citric winegum aroma. Quite dry and juicy with slender body. Intriguing flavours of tropical fruits, winegums and white pepper. Low bitterness. Nicely drinkable, funky full flavoured saison - typical Fantôme style.

Pours hazy yellow with a tiny white head. Aroma has a note of tuborg pilsner (no homo) along with dry hay, straw, citrus, wheat, corriander, weak metallic note, basil, rosemary, perfumish and some barnyardy notes behind all of this. Taste still has that pilsner note for me along with some herbs, wheat, hay, some funkyness, corriander, perfume, barnyard, dry saisonish, herbs and some lime peel.

Hazy golden with a white ehad - aroma has some malts, with some spicy yest as well - taste is of some malts , with some citrus and spicy yeast - it is drinkable and very refreshing - nice

Bottle. Pours a hazy straw yellow with a white head. Aroma is somewhat tart, with hops, grass and a spicy note; feels like a pale lager blended with a Belgian ale. Flavour is tartish with hops, a strange artificial citrus note and a spicy note which resembles rosemary, but also has a touch of basil to it. Dry, tartish, hoppy and artificial citrus finish. Overall okay I guess, but not really my thing; didn’t care for the spicy notes, which seemed cloying. 30.03.12.

Bottle at tasting. Pours hazy yellow, quickly dissipating head. The aroma is very citrusy in the first impression. Lemon peel, also. Then a herbal spicy note of basil and rosemary which seems to be part of a very unique ester form the yeast. Slightly funky. Herbal, yeasty and unique aroma. The taste also comes through very citrusy, has a sourness just like lemon juice, it’s slightly tart, still the rosemary note comes through, and the yeast comes off just as unique and interesting as in the aroma. I like how this beer is just totally unique and different.

Thanks to Beerlando for this at Fantômepalooza 2011. Deep gold pour. Funky blanket, vanilla and citrus hop aroma. Herbal taste, sweet malt, vanilla and more funk. Neat brew.
