Hazy orange brown coloured with an off white ehad.
Sweet aroma of malts, caramel and fruits with notes of dried fruits.
Light acidic flavour of caramel and fruits. Grovlam (3790), Copenhagen, Denmark Oct 3, 2007 Bottle. [Courtesy of Ungstrup, quality tasting @ Papsoe] Spare frothy white head that mostly diminished. Muddy dark brown color. Spare lacework. Notes of flowers, perfume, herbs, citrus, barnyard and spice. Medium bodied with a soft carbonation. Moderated sweet with light acidic. Spicy light sour finish. 28-09-2007 Papsoe (14613), Frederiksberg, Denmark Oct 2, 2007 (Bottle 75 cl) Courtesy of Ungstrup. Pours a hazy, dark brown with an orange hue. Head is completely absent. Lightly tart, spicy nose. A little thin and almost completely flat. No real malty feel - just this weird acidity. Must’ve been a bad bottle. 280907 MikeF (528), Cleveland, Ohio, USA Sep 30, 2007 One of my favorite beers. A beer near the pinnacle of beer complexity. Numerous bold and subtle earthy flavors that defy description. Once a fan of this beer style you may have a hard time turning back - beware. Jerre (1755), Waregem, Belgium Sep 21, 2007 Bottle, 75 cl.
