Taste is deeply malty with some jam, light sour and barnyard with a touch of citrus and currant. Lightly bubbley and dryish mouthfeel. m4rest88 (216), Beverly Hills, California, USA Nov 29, 2008 Pours with a dark amber hue with a light brown head that is mostly diminishing.
Aroma is of dark fruits - mainly prunes and dates, mixed with some yeast, spices, and lots of citrus.
Beer has a sweet, sour beginning, with a flat middle, followed by a jammy, and sour ending.
Syrupy texture with very light carbonation.
A very good brew indeed!
