Bottle. Muddy orange brown, flat. Nose of apples and oranges, acidic tang, light spices. No pumpkin notes. Sweet-and-sour flavor, funk-ass, smoke, lemons. Weird as hell and certainly going off, but somehow still enjoyable enough.

Hey, Boo. Fantome weirdness in the form of smoked apple juice, barbeque sauce, grassy hops, and dandelions. Oh, and a hint of saltiness. Somehow bright in its flavor. Amazingly stupid/awesome label. WTF? Cheers, Jason.

Thanks Jason! Soft murky amber pour with a crackly off white head. Ephemeral and funky nose. Wonderful wild and floral notes as well. Lightly sweet with smoky notes in the flavor. Touches of apple skin and earthy malt with a touch of cracked pepper. More body than expected. Very nice!

7/3/13. 750mL bottle thanks to cheesemoose. Hazy orange pour with a small khaki head. Sour citrus, funk, and metal on the aroma and flavor with some tomato soup, yogurt, and phenolics. Disappointing.

750ml bottle: This one opened with a huge geyser of beer. I must have lost about 1/4 of it. Anyway, it pours a fairly opaque orangish-dark golden color. There was quite a bit of an off-white head, but it didn’t linger long or leave too much lacing. Lots of aroma to the nose. Bready, yeasty and spicy, and then the fun starts. I get some pumpkin and clove, as well as some other more garden type aromas. An interesting taste. Tart, spices, some of the pumpkin, a bit dry and bitter also. An interesting brew. I’d definitely have another!

Bottle at Delirium Café. Hazy deep amber liquid with medium dirty white head. Aroma of white pepper, apple, grain, flowers and lemons. Taste is dry, light sour and light bitter with notes of white pepper, band aid and lemons. Light bodied with medium to high carbonation. Quite phenolic and weird.

Hazy amber coloured beer with small white head and no carbonation visible. Slight smokey aroma. Full sparkling palate. Finish is bitter smokey and dry. Nice one!

Bottle at CGarvie tasting. Master-exploder bottle! This sucker exploded all-over Mr Garvie’s house (sorry for bringing it!!!). It pours very cloudy pale orange-amber with a quickly disappointing head. The nose is earth, sweet pumpkin, butternut squash, spice, slurry and farmyard. The taste is earth, spice, pumpkin, sweet orange, farmyard and citrus edge. Medium body and low carbonation (after the explosion). Smooth and lightly fruity but definitely not worth the hassle!
