2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Served in a Fantome tulip. Nose has some banana and spice and a bit of plastic, which ten comes more through in the taste. Dry herbal bitterness. Quite odd.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
A golden ale with a thin white head. In aroma, strange peppery malt with weird Italian herbs, and chemical character. In mouth, a weird peated malt with light cherry notes, lactic acid, interesting. Sampler at Battle of the Belgians at Jimmys 43.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle from Archer Road Beer Stop, Sheffield. On Halloween! Clear amber colour. Minimal, but lasting, white head. Has the Fantome over cooked veg thing going on. Lots of barley sugar. Some spice, definitely clove. Some ginger, maybe. Hint of ripe dessert apple. Nice body, carbonation helps cut through any overt sweetness. Taste is apple dry and toffee sweet, all at the same time. Finishes medium dry. Mouth filling Autumnal goodness. Not the best, but you can’t deny it’s interesting!!

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle... Cloudy straw-cored pour with a small, creamy, white head. The aromatics are of perfume and smoked malt. Medium-bodied with jazzy carbonation. The flavor is tart, oddly salty and herbal - not unpleasant. Finishes tangy with a tiny pinch of salt.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
750ml bottle in a tulip. Pours amber with a lacy, cream-colored head. Aroma of light tartness, some pale and caramel malts, a little fruit/spiciness, and a light bitterness. Flavor the same. Average texture. Not bad but not the best from this brewery.

75cl bottle at Delirium Brussels, shared with Mathieu87.
APPEARANCE: clear blond beer, nice stable white head.
NOSE: fruity, grains, yeast, hops, alcohol.
TASTE: pumpkin, sweet, little wood, herbs, too much spices though, not completely balanced. But decent!

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle. Muddy orange brown, flat. Nose of apples and oranges, acidic tang, light spices. No pumpkin notes. Sweet-and-sour flavor, funk-ass, smoke, lemons. Weird as hell and certainly going off, but somehow still enjoyable enough.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Hey, Boo. Fantome weirdness in the form of smoked apple juice, barbeque sauce, grassy hops, and dandelions. Oh, and a hint of saltiness. Somehow bright in its flavor. Amazingly stupid/awesome label. WTF? Cheers, Jason.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 18/20
Thanks Jason! Soft murky amber pour with a crackly off white head. Ephemeral and funky nose. Wonderful wild and floral notes as well. Lightly sweet with smoky notes in the flavor. Touches of apple skin and earthy malt with a touch of cracked pepper. More body than expected. Very nice!

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
7/3/13. 750mL bottle thanks to cheesemoose. Hazy orange pour with a small khaki head. Sour citrus, funk, and metal on the aroma and flavor with some tomato soup, yogurt, and phenolics. Disappointing.
