chef201atc (249), Weatherford, Texas, USA Jan 11, 2008 Cloudy straw colored pour with scant head. Nose is hay, horse blanket, and funk. Light palate with moderate carbonation. Flavor has a small amount of funkiness, dry finish. legion242 (1572), Richardson, Texas, USA Jan 10, 2008 Lumpfest 2008- nice murky yellow/orange with a medium to heavy soapy head. Yeasty nose. Really nice. Tons of mild yeast- oxymoron? Just really well balanced and executed. RollinHard (749), Fort Worth, Texas, USA Jan 6, 2008 At this point, things were getting crazy, and my notes say "I am a tool" first written by Walt and then written again by Amanda to prove that her handwriting looks nothing like Walt’s. I wrote, in my handwriting then, that they are both tools.
Grainy aroma, very grassy. Dry taste, also grainy pretty spicy like cloves, but rougher. Dry spicy finish with lots of residual grass taste in the back. A nice and pleasant saison. xmarcnolanx (789), Kirkwood, Missouri, USA Jan 3, 2008 All saisony and stuff in the aroma. Grainy, just typically saison.
Taste is slightly rough grassy grains and hop.
Finishes sweet, slightly hopped, and yummy.
