Bottle, pours a hazy orange, decent and long-lasting head, off white in color. Scents of soy and hay. Rich flavor, silky sweetness, touch of candy corn, vanilla and butter cream. One of the best offerings I’ve had from Fantome. Ethereal (1500), London, Greater London, England

Aroma is Robinson’s Lemon Barley Water. Rather creamy with a citrus and bread taste similar to a wheat beer. Nicely dry at the swallow and very clean on the palate. jcr (1149), Jasper, Indiana, USA
| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 17/20 | Dec 22, 2008 750 ml. Peppery and herbal, this is another delicious saison from Fantome. Inviting huge, pillowy white head, slowly diminishing, above a hazy, gold-orange body. The aroma is yeasty with mustiness, malty with toasted grain and hoppy with a herbal, grassy scent. Distinct notes of celery salt and white pepper with hints of grass, hay, herbs. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly bitter. The finish is lightly sweet and very dry. Thin to medium body and a disappointing watery texture. Lively carbonation. Peppery, lightly alcoholic flavor lingers. Artful. bhensonb (4243), Woodland, California, USA

Hazy orange color with bubbles and smear, but no head. Aroma of mildly sour light stone fruits with perhaps a touch of citrus. Medium body with little carbonation. Flavor is a varying citrus with surges towards barnyard, but really light barnyard. Finish is a little wood licking with fruit notes on the side. Good drink. Might be an intro for some. ericandersnavy (1055), crossroads, Texas, USA
