3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle. Pours a cloudy deep orange with a thin head that dissipates completely and quickly. Aroma has a bit of light chocolate with sweet grains and a touch of spice. Flavor is lighter with light flora, light fruits and a bit of tartness with a finish that has a touch of chocolate.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Weird, ugly, and off like a lot of Fantome beers but you know what? I like it. Its tart, earthy, vegetal, and lacking identity but its got that dirty Fantome charm that makes it interesting.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Hazy amber/orange colour. Medium carbonation. Weird beer. Sour and bitter, almost no sweetness. Aroma of green apple, yeast and hops. I can not detect any chocolat.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
UPDATED: NOV 5, 2013 Bottle: murky, dark-amber color with a huge, light-beige head that pillows up and leaves nice chunks of lacing behind... good looking saison. Aroma is relatively fruity; ripe, green apples, white grapes, light cherries, lots of funk, wet wood, musty cellar, & damp cork. Mild yeasty spice in the finish, estery... I’m not really getting any chocolate or chilies, but apparently they’re here. Regardless, nice smelling for the style. Taste is another good mix of fruit and funk. Pears, apples, white grapes, tart but not quite sour with a back-end sweetness, funky yeast, wet barnyard notes, musty cork. The funk is a bit lighter on the palate, allowing the tart fruitiness to shine. Ester filled, bready & spicy yeast in the finish. Still, no chilies or chocolate, but a damn fine beer nonetheless. One of Fantome’s "hits".

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
A dark gold beer, with a good white head. It is a very unclear beer, a refermented beer. In the nose there is sour, lime, yeast and it smells old. It is medium bodied with an excellent fine carbonation. The main taste is sour, and earthy. There is a light Chili touch in the beer, and in the far background there is maybe some chocolat. The aftertaste is sour, and the Chili becomes stronger. Overal it is not what i suspected, a disapionting beer, but the batch could be totally different, so...

TAP at the brewery, shared with Mathieu87.
APPEARANCE: clouded dark blond beer.
NOSE: fresh, hoppy, very fruity, citrus, red fruits.
TASTE: watery, herbs, spicy, fruity.
Don’t get the chocolate in this one, but again the same herbs that yet get like most Fantôme beers! Decent

750 ml bottle at home - pours clear light orange with a small and quickly vanishing head. Aroma of tangerine peel, citrus, saison yeast and hay funk. Light body with nice acidic notes and fruity taste.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
UPDATED: AUG 24, 2013 Pours a hazy orange from the bottle with thin ring of white lacy head that leaves light lacing. Aroma is Belgian yeast, a hint of funky tartness, nice lemony citrus. Taste follows with a hint of sweetness and a nice bite on the back of the tongue. Mostly just a saison to me, no real chocolate, but nicely done.

2.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 8/20
Hazy orange colour, beige head. Aroma of caramel, malts, yeast and brett. Sour, dusty flavour, quite weird. Sticky, thick texture, it’s sticking together a bit, like a mild Saccharomyces Viscosus infection. Chocolate? Not even sure this beer has been even near to a cacao bean.
