Bottle shared by plovmand. Pours hazy dark amber with a tan head. The aroma is very special - peppery, berries, spices and acidic. Flavour is very special as well, peppery, vinegar, spices, berries and leather. Over the edge brew, funny to taste.

Bottle. Golden, cloudy, small and fully diminishing head. Moderate, malty and dryish – lots of citrus aroma, spices – pepper. Body is medium, malty and dryish flavor, berry-like acidity, pepper and dry spices, citrus. Finish is average, malty and dry, citrus and pepper. Strange beer, also unfortunately bit flat – pepper and citrus together just do not work for me.

Maria (10158) - Thisted, DENMARK - NOV 25, 2010
This one I have had in my cellar several years, thanks Fonefan. The color is mahogany-red and the head is creamy. The aroma has notes of caramel and berries. The flavour is moderately sweet and has berry-acidity and notes of rowanberries, light raisin, caramel and the finish is sourish and dry. It’s actually quite nice.

Bottle. Clear orange/red body with an offwhite head. Aroma is fruit, yeast and spices. Flavor is spices, caramel and hops. Light acidic.

75 cl bottle. Pours dark orange, amber with a medium brown head. Aroma is earthy, caramel and hints of spices. Taste is similar, with malt, roasted notes and a finish very spicy. Medium body with medium/high carbonation. It’s a quite strange and different beer, I don’t like too much this beer even if it is quite interesting in the different parts.

75cl bottle. Pours a clear caramel rubish color with a big beige head. Good lacing and long lasting foam. Aroma is strong and complex: sweet caramel and toasted notes sorrounded by farmhouse yeasts flavors and spices. Taste is astonishing: initially it recalls a porter with toasted and chocolatey notes, then turns to the huge amount of sweet-acid flavors more typical for a season. Strong hints of spices and hot peppers in particular. The finish is sweet and peppered (it makes you more thirsty then before). Overall, this brew is huge, complex and original.

75 cL bottle, courtesy of KimJohansen. Pours hazy dark brown with a creamy, tan and dense head. Aroma is oxidised, malty and acidic. Mild acidic and fruity. Dark malty and breadish. Bitter and mild acidic finish.

Hazy mahogany with a medium beige head. Aroma had rye bread, roasted malt, cardemum and caramel. Flavor was quite dry with roasted malt, caramel, cinnamon, cardemum and yeast. Finished dry and sourish.

A: snifter. pours a richly, opaque tawny color with a pale orange/beige head with great retention rate and wonderful lacing. S: huge sour citrus aromas that really bite the nose. lactic acid and some serious grapefruit tones. T: wonderful sour lemonade taste. small hints of lactic acid but the citrus sours are the major player here. absolutely delicious. M: the best part of this beer is how crisp and refreshing it is . great carbonation level and very relaxing mouthfeel. D: even at 8%, this is a very drinkable saison, and delicious at that.

75cl Bottle, proefzolder Alvinne. Cork releases under much pressure, mystery mist coming out, but not a gusher whatsoever. Beer is very hazy yellow and has the most peculiar nose. It’s like orange marmelade upfront, followed by fresh cannabis buds, propelled by a certain spritzyness. MF however is much more still and flat. A bit overspiced probably. Small tanginess, saisonwise. Strange beer. But not bad.
