Bottle… Fantômepalooza 2011… Murky yellow ale with a small, creamy, white head. Good retention. The aromatic standouts are lemon and oregano. Medium-bodied with stinging carbonation. The flavor is tangy, spicy and modestly sweet. Finishes lightly sweet and very mildly bitter. Bottle courtesy of the ever-generous Beerlando!

Pours a hazy yellowish/gold color. Aromas of tart fruit, bread, hint of citrus, and yeasty. Flavor is malty/citrus. Leaves a yeasty orange aftertaste. Almost like a Belgian Wit.

Pours a murky dark orange color. Very citrusy on the nose with a strange oregano sort of aroma. Plenty of bread and cracker and more herbal notes as it sits. As with the nose, heavy flavors of citrus and oregano, also some cracker and biscuit malts, maybe yeast.

750ml bottle. Pours ugly dark orange color but nice white head and some neat yellow colors showing when light hits it. Lots of caramel and some basil and butter notes in the nose. Flavor has a bit of bitterness, caramel, and herbs. Starting to show some age but MUCH mellower than the bottle a couple years ago at the Fantome tasting. Quite enjoyable now that the spices have mellowed.

75 cl bottle, thanks to ekstedt. Golden beer, white head. Oregano aroma?!?!. Oregano in flavor as well, malty and very boring.

Bottle. Courtesy of ekstedt. Pours cloudy golden with a white head leaving lace. Aroma is oregano, sourish, barnyard, hay, fruity and slight caramel. Flavor is a bit odd, crispy, fruity, sunky and tart. Finishes sourish peppery.

Bottle (75 cl) from Etre Gourmet. CLear golden, fizzy white head. A heavy and harsh oregano aroma obscures everything else. Dry with a bit vegetative bitterness. Undrinkable.
