750mL courtesy of Travlr. Pours a clear straw with very spritzy carbonation. A small white head sits atop with okay retention and not much lace. Aroma of white wine, spices, pine (?). Taste is grainy, spicy, medicinal, rosemary, thyme. Powdery dry palate. Leaves a weird numbing mouthfeel.

4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
Bright, semi-translucent, golden pour with a white head that quickly mellows to a nice ring of foam. Nose is doughy yeast, light citrus, and a good wallop of fantome funk. Flavor reveals subdued orange and lemon with a honey-basil sweetness. The oregano shines beautifully in the dry finish, which compliments the yeasty/doughy body perfectly. Carbonation is very soft and the mouthfeel is slick. Overall, this is a supremely refreshing and interesting brew that goes down quite easily. Not going to ’wow’ everybody; but as a Fantome Fanatic, this was an amazing treat for me.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Slightly hazy golden with a firm and lasting white head. Refined fruity aroma with a touch of banana and mild herbal notes. When you know it’s oregano you can identify it. Dry and herbal flavour and quite bitter. Pretty clean for a Fantôme
