񢉒 bottle) Immediatly after opening, the fragrence of apples poured out. There were some sour notes in the aroma, but apples dominated. This had a nice orange colour that could almost border on brown. A perfectly formed, large white head formed and produced very nice lacing. heavy sour taste with some cinnimon and apples it seemed. This was tasty and perfectly paired with my easter feast.

Slightly cloudy reddish brown color with a totally retained off white head and yes there will be some lacing. Aroma is diverse with yeast, cobwebs, wine and funk. Flavor is awesome with some malt sweetness, lots of wonderful yeasty flavors. Great peppery finish. Why oh why can’t I have more Fantome???

Poured a hazy orange brown color. Aroma and flavors of yeast, apples, and peaches.. Spicey finish appears to be from the yeast. Medium bodied.

Old "Winter" bottle. Poured with the appearance of apple cider - even with the "floaties" that could be construed as cinnamon. The flavor was sweet, buttery, uneven, but lively and held much more body than expected. A little pepper in the finish is a nice touch.

(Bottled, 0.75l) Clear, very red color without yeast - almost opaque brown with it. Quite large, tight and foamy, lacy head. Very yeasty, somewhat port-wineous and salty aroma with some sourness. Toffeeish-roasted-malty, yeasty flavor with herbs and faint sourness. Medium-bodied, dryish and low-carbonated palate. A delicious, roasty and slightly sour, very well-balanced brew.

Bottle conditioned, at Essen Kerstbierfestival 2004. Deep chestnut with a faint haze, thin off white head and gentle condition. Spicy nose with some trace funky sub-lambic notes. Tangy fruit, malt and slight spiciness in the mouth though some funkiness still remains. Dry and spicy bitterness in the finish with some lingering nuttiness.

Apply aroma, very full slow-dissolving head. Nutmeg is pretty strong in this. Hoppy initial taste, but smooth finish.

dark pinkish brown with a creamy light head. sour sweaty aroma, sweet dry flavor that has a tart edge that finishes sweet. there is a candy taste and a powdery vegetable citrus also.
