Lots of yeast. Too peppery for me w/hops aplenty. I think Fantome’s Pissenlit is far better. I didn’t detect any cinnamon. Ungstrup (15220), Frederiksberg, Denmark
| 1.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 1/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 5/20 | Nov 21, 2004 Looks like a Caffrey’s when it is poured, but the head just disappears - even though it almost blew a hole in my cealing when it opened itself. The aroma is yeasty and spicy. The flavor is of yeast and cinnamon - especially the cinnamon has been put in, in enormous amounts. This is too much for me. Jeppe (2638), Ølbutikken, Denmark
| 1.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 3/5 | 5/20 | Nov 19, 2004 Pours muddy milky brown with a foamy light tan head. Strong cinnamon aroma with herby tones. Also dominating cinnamon notes in the harsh flavor. This is almost like eating a liquid stick of cinnamon!! Cocoa tones. Harsh, dry and very weird. I wonder what is going on at that brewery?!?! | 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Nov 17, 2004 Sourish and spicy aroma. The cork on this beer popped by itself. Pours like bailey with a gigantic head, but disappears fast. Spicy and sour flavor, wuite gross. One more time, i dont get what people see in these saisons? And Fantome is a fuckin weird brewery, start brewing some good stuff goddammit! Sammy (3999), Toronto, Ontario, Canada

| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Nov 11, 2004 Wine stained leather. Incredibly aromatic, milk chocolate, fruits (grape, currants), coriander, lactose and molasses. Subtle, funky, light bodied, lingering flavorful with a variety of fruit (grapes, apricots, raisins) and spice (coriander, wood shavings). Not as tart as I was hoping for. Well hidden alcohol, like every Fantome beer. I’m not taking this to the grave with me but I still enjoyed it. irishsnake (353), Oakland, California, USA
| 4.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 3/5 | 10/10 | 5/5 | 19/20 | Nov 4, 2004 beer pours a murky amber. very fizzy with a huge, fluffy head that quickly descends to form a thick lace. nose is huge and complex: clovey phenols, some spice (coriander?), fruity esters, and a little malt toast. nice balanced flavor: malt and spice notes up front with a finish balnced with some bitterness, a light acid tang, a good CO2 bight, and warming alcohol notes. great balance for its size. it goes down really easy, too. I really like this beer.

| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Oct 5, 2004 Cloudy deep orange w/thick white head. Light funk, vanilla, some oak and citrus aromas. Med body w/sour nutty finish. Flavors of vanilla, oak, and citrus. Rich yet the sourness refreshes the palate. Quite nice!
