(Bottle) Pours yellow to pale golden with an off-white. The aroma holds dusty and dry notes of spices/pepper/coriander/ nutmeg/ginger, crackers, lemon/lime citrus and wood. Undertones of phenols and light mould. The flavour is light sweet to dry, light bitter and light to medium acidic. Citric, spicy, light hoppy, woodsy and cracker-like. The mouthfeel is sot and light tart with light carbonation. Citric, woody, light spicy and light phenolic finish. Light to medium bodied.

Pours a hazy orangish/gold color. Aromas of tart fruit, bread, citrus, and yeasty. Flavor is malty/citrus. Leaves a yeasty orange aftertaste.

Bottle. Pour is hazy copper/gold with a white head which quickly dissipates. Aroma of citrus, cherry, grassy hops, earth, herbal notes. Taste is grassy hops, earth, biscuit, light sweetness, light bitterness. Palate is soft, oily, light body, grassy bitter finish.

Bottle at Nate Dawg’s Birthday Bash. It pours deep amber, with a thick off-white head. The nose is sour green apple, spice, yeast, dark fruit and berry. The taste is tangy green apple, caramel, touch of smoke, spice, dark fruit and berry, with a juicy, tangy finish. Medium body, average carbonation, foamy mouth-feel and good balance. Very tasty stuff.

Nate2Gs Birthday Bash at Kernel. Cloudy brown beer, little off white head. Light dry palate with fine carbonation. Mildlt tart generic fruits. A little dry. Pleasant and drinkable.

Pours hazy reddish with off white head, aroma has notes of some cherry, orange, hints of banana, hints even of some slight mint, herbal notes, touch of slight biscuit in there as well. Taste is pretty odd, some nice spice notes along with touches of banana, orange, lemon, hints of esters, lots of wintery spice notes, finishing slightly tart and dry.

Bottle at Nate’s Massive Kernel Birthday Piss-Up. Pours lightly cloudy copper with a foamy, white head. Fruity nose, bits of apple. Medium sweet flavor, some tangy fruit, apples and berries mostly. Medium to full in body with fine to average carbonation. Tangy finish, some sugars, fruits and berries. Very good.

Bottle at Nate’s birthday, The Kernel. Colour is reddish/orange with haze. Nose is sourish, roasted grain, wheat cereal. Taste is soft sour, and then marzipan sweets. Sour finish.

Bottle at Kernel Brewery. Brown hazy lasting beige head. Spicy slight malt aroma. Its good i like it sourness with a sweet malt booziness. Happy to sit down with that. One of the best beers if the day. More like a flemish red sour. Bit more malt and sweetness. Really good.

Bottle, about 2 yo. Murky red. Super fruity, orchard fruits--smooth plum and cherry especially. Lots of mellow fructose sugars in the palate. I find it slightly metallic from oxidation, and a little stale bread, stale flour. Overall a good experience.
