Corked and capped bottle from Tipples "Best before End 2016." Pours hazy amber dark orange colored with a fluffy off white or yellowish khaki head. Aroma of winter time spices--coriander, cinnamon, a little nutmeg maybe--yeasty apples and pears, some candy sugars, hay, and some funky yeasty character. Flavor is lightly dry hay, some accompanying spice, a bit of sweet sugars and honey, and finishes with a good but of light fruit character like apples and pears. The spices and hay funk lighten things up and keep this from being too heavy. Medium body with medium carbonation. Overall an enjoyable brew!

Pour at tasting. Pours cloudy yellow, lots of citrus on the nose, solid funk. Very crisp and good. Nothing bad about it but nothing stands out a lot. Solid overall.

Bottle from Brewdog, Sheffield. Cloudy, orangey, amber colour. Film of white head. Sourdough bread. Clove. Light ginger. Hint of anise. Taste is spicy dry. Plenty of creamy, buttery sweetness provides balance. Palate sees it through. A tad over sweet on the finish, for me, but very drinkable regardless.
