May 21, 2009 75cl. Reddish murky brown, huge firm beige head. Very yeasty, mildly sourish nose with spiciness, mud, faint rotten fruits and cellary cheese. Extremely pleasant sourish flavor, rotten apples, great mild spiciness, nicely slight roastiness in there too. Medium to full bodied, strong moutfilling carbonation. Very smooth yet interesting, a freaking great dark saison.

May 10, 2009 Bottle. Semi-sweet fruity aroma, moderately musty and yeasty. Hazy orange body, huge foamy head. Flavor is a little on the mild side, but a well-balanced blend of malty fruitiness and some spices. Finish is light and very dry.

Apr 28, 2009 750 ml bottle: pours a hazy amber color with an off white head. sweet malty, yeast spicy aroma.maybe just a hint of candy/bubble gum/honey. flavors are quite complex. malt sweetness up front with some spiciness. wheat, caramel, light fruit and grapes, bubble gum, anise. earthy, funky wildness. faint hint of citrus and flowers. very drinkable.

Apr 23, 2009 [Bottle @ Odense Tasting, 14th February 2009, remembered for Carsten BeerMouths fantastic 3 meals highend gastronomy.] Although it’s long time I’ve tasted these brewdrops I remember a great breew with very much pebber notes, horseblanket, dried grape, sourness. Fantastic!

Apr 13, 2009 750ml. 2002 or prior? Red and blue label reading "Winter". Pour is hazy orange/amber with a foamy white head. Funky aromas of spice, tart fruit, citrus, and yeast. Flavor is outstanding with sour apples, spice, and slighy yeast. Very suprised here. An interesting brew and very enjoyable.

Apr 12, 2009 This beer was a winter ’08-’09 brew. It was dark, almost viscous for a saison. There was no spice and very little sweetness as well. It was almost familiar to a pilsener, but much smoother. I was a bit disappointed because I had such high expectations, but it was still a quality beer.

Apr 12, 2009 Bottled (from Cracked Kettle). Amber colour, mediumsized beige head. Aroma is barnyard, lots of spices and herbs. Flavour is spices, yeast, herbs and some hints of caramel. Quite brutal, but balanced. Semidry palate. With yeast in it gets a bit more bready and solid from the spicyness.
