750 mL bottle received via trade with swoopjones. Pours sparkling amber with an average, frothy, off-white head, mostly diminishing with fair lacing. Aroma is heavy malt (cookie, bread, straw), average hops (herbs, grass), heavy yeast (horse blanket, earth) with notes of apple and pear. Medium bodied, slick texture, average carbonation, and a chalky finish. Long duration, moderate sweetness, light acidity and bitterness. Pleasant and very drinkable.

Bottle... Murky burnt orange ale with a mid-sized, frothy, white head. Terrific retention. Herbal, earthy aroma offers notes of lavender, pepper and caramel. Medium-bodied and chewy with tingly carbonation. Sweet, herbal flavor delivers coriander caramel and pepper. Moderate bitterness. Herbal, bittersweet finish. Kudos to mgumby10 for sharing his bottle!

Courtesy of imadeadguy. Pours a cloudy, yeasty, burnt orange color, with a small swirly off white head. All sorts of cool stuff going on in the nose. Pretty earthy, with a unique blend of spices, funk, and orange citrus and malt. Dug it. The flavor had alot of the same characters. Alot of spicy citrus, black pepper, coriander, clove, and earthy notes. Pretty refreshing and flavorful al the way through the last sip. Great little saison, but not surprising in the least.

I’ve had many Fantomes and been to the brewery and this one is lovely for me! Cloudy amber with small head...malty aroma with some barnyard. Flavors are of big funky fruit, wild fun times chasing dogs thru fields, bitter end notes! Crackers, cheese, earth, straw, flowery hops, mango, candy sugar, ginger...lovely!

750 ml cottle pored a lightly hazy orange with a small lasting amber head. Aromas of orange, carmel, spice, tangerine and light spice. Palate was light bodied and crisp. Flavors of carmel, spice, orange and light earthiness with a crisp lingering bittersweet finish.

750 ml capped not corked. Pours a hazy nectarine body with an enormous beige head. Lots of clumpy lacing. Aroma is lemony and earthy, with floral, fruity, and spicy notes. Medium body is held together well by a smoth and velvety carbonation. Nice pastoral feel. Taste is dry and earthy, with lots of floral and herbal traits. This one has more of a fruity fresh orange character than other Fantomes. Very nice.
