An unclear dark golden beer with a very thin beige head. The aroma is sweet with spicy notes of hops, cloves, and cordemomme, as weel as notes of malt and citrus fruits. The flavor is sweet malty with strong notes of fruit almost over ripe, and some spices, cloves and cardemomme, leading to a citrusy bitter finish. Suttree (2702), Knoxville, Tennessee, USA Nov 29, 2008 Cloudy orange, big fluffy white head. Appley, peppery, white wine aroma. Huge flavor explosion. . It’s pointless to try to just list all the flavors - winey, fruity, peppery, I guess - but its amazing stuff. fordest (1954), Santee/San Diego, California, USA Nov 20, 2008 750 ml bottle. Very nice wood and sweet sugar aromas off this beer. Hints of grass and flowers too. Flavor was a bit more spicy with some more sugar and sweet malts. Very good Saison
