Bottle 750ml.
Appearance: heavy, thick layer of yeast sediment, large creamy top. Thick lace covering on tasting glass. Amber fill.
Aroma: Light , meadow softness, herbal with grassy hay hints. Pleasant and very refreshing.
Flavour/Palate: medium bodied, strong herbal funky theme. Quiet neat approach to style. Slight alcohol burn. Very good drinkable Saison.

750ml bottle. Lightly hazy with an amber color and huge head. Floral aroma with wood, malt and a touch of spice. The flavor is as good as any Fantome I’ve ever had. This one is a bit sweet with a tart fruit presence that allows the sweetness to come through without being cloying. Candy, malt and caramel in there as well. Medium body with a semi-dry tart finish. I’d get this again.

Orange pour with a thin white head and tons of yeast particles suspended. Sour citrus aroma with lots of funk and vinegar. Spicy clove flavor. Bitter and dry with yeast, lemon, and candy. A lot going on here.

Roughly half of my ratings start with the following sentence: Bottle shared by iowaherkeye. Poured a hazy light orange color with a white head. Smelled of lemony dish soap, pastry, and spices. Light to medium bodied and slightly sweet. Spicy clove, apricot, and orange dominated the flavor. Very. Nice.

Bottle. Pours an amber body with an off white head. Spicy cinnamon and peppery aroma. Cloves and citrus in the flavor with some toffee and butterscotch. A solid offering with a nice etoh warming.

Lots of yeast in the aroma. After sitting awhile in my basement, it still pours a very nice head. Golden. Much golder than I expected. Bit funky in the taste, which is nice. Not overwhelming. Also some sweetness. Probably too sour and funky for my wife, but just right for me. Nice. I kept forgetting I had this one, and today I remembered to pull it. Just in time for the Mizzou game.

Bottle 75cl @ chris o’s Pre-GBBF Shindig 2008.
Unclear light to medium amber color with a average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate yeasty, barnyard, german motorway toilet cleaner ! sweet fruity. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a average to long duration, and a dry finish. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. (020808)
