Bottle purchased off a random beer site I believe, cant really remember. Opened at Fantomefest 2014. Hazy burnt orange in color with maybe a half fingers worth of medium to large bubbles. Good head retention as I drink my sample. Nose is slightly vegetal, I get notes of tomato almost? Flavor is somewhat vegetal as well while being lightly tart with notes of peach and other stone fruit. Light bodied, well carbed, very crushable. Nice beer, very happy to give this one a whirl.

Yeasty and cereal grain aroma with faint white grape accents. Almost clear orange under a tight white ring. Sweet malty flavour with some fruity notes and prominent cereal grain character.Medium light body, medium carbonation, grainy finish.

Amber pour, whitish head. Flavor is a bit odd(shocker, right?). Tropical fruit, citrus, grapes, honeydew, hay, yeast. Some oxidation was noticeable. This brewery is just weird...but fun.

Sampled at the CCB/RateBeer/Pre-Hunah Tasting (Tampa, FL). Pours a murky brownish amber pour, darker with frothy head. Laces small. Darker body. Aromas are rich potent citrus, tons of grapefruit, peach, grapes, and more melon. Big grapefruit, peach, tartness. Saisin yeast, gentle funk, sourness. Initial is more bland, bready, doughy, straw, bit oxidized. Mellow body with some gentle yeast, dryness, florals. Gentle sweetness, florals, grass. Touches of yeast, luden or herbal coolness. Odd. Backend is a bit more dry, spicy, grassy. Nose really offers a lot, falls off for me. Meh

Bottle. Pours cloudy light brown amber with a nice bubbly beigish head. Aroma is funky sour fruity apricots peaches. Flavor follows the aroma, nicely funky and bitter turning to the dry side towards the finish.

This bottled brew from rbsg #62 poured a medium sized head of foamy fine to large sized bubbles that were and left behind a no visible carbonation hazy light brown colored body. Hmm, no flavor aroma or mouth feel notes. I must have been pretty lit by then. 62 beers at one event. Nice! A decent one that I would consider drinking again.

Bottle shared by Thorpe429. Thanks Mike. Sampled alongside twenty other Fantôme beers. The beer is a light orange color and appears mildly hazy. Good head retention with plenty of lacing. The aroma is dominated by the smell of apples. A dash of spice and funk are in there as well, but apples steal the show. The tastes follows suit. Perhaps an appropriate choice for the autumn season? The feel on the palate is a bit sharp, but I wouldn’t describe it as harsh. Overall, one of the weaker Fantôme beers of the evening. Serving type: bottle Reviewed on: 11-07-2011

Bottle. Pours a hazy orange color with white head and a lot of floaties. Aroma of bitter orange peel, honey, yeast, cardboard, something slightly funky. Taste is quite orangey, some cardboard, over steeped tea and xeres. Palate is dry with a bitter finish, slightly astringent finish. Quite poor unfortunately, probably a very old bottle.

Shared this bottle at last weekend’s Fantome tasting. Served in a Fantome tulip. Pours a cloudy golden yellow with a thin white head. The nose brings some light citrus -- orange and lemon -- plus a bit of spice. Fairly nice. The flavor is quite odd and falls way off. It’s dry and a bit musty with faint citrus. Something way off about it, likely fermentation issues as this is like a bad Tripel. Strange spice and a dry finish. Very odd.

Desciption: Belgian saison brewed with oranges.
How: 750ml green bottle from Patrick.
Look: Orange hue with a white head.
Smell: Nice aroma of honey, fruity esters, mead, rancio and some oxidation.
Taste: Odd taste of oranges, tea and mead.
Feel and Drinkability: Medium bodied ale and easy drinking.
Overall: A fresh beer would have give a better idea of the quality of this product. The oxidation was omnipresent.
Score: 5/10
