Bottle. Odd corkage led to some stress while opening, but we survived. Murky orange color, large white head, great lacing. Aroma of dusty pineapple leaves, moderate funk and vacuum cleaner. Taste is smooth pineapple, grapefruit and barnyard. Another amazing beer from Dany, merci, mon ami.

75cl bottle thanks to sebletitje. Pours like hazy peach juice with a big white head that leaves nice lacing. Definite funk on the nose with a little hops and straw. Tastes of smoke initially, but that goes away after a bit. Also lots of spices and vegetal flavors. Light body with soft carb. Real nice. Need more.

75 cl. bottle shared / thx to sebletitje – apparently a fresh bottle – apricot, hay / straw looking, white head, smell is lots of spices, lemon & lemon air refresher, taste is citrus, lots & lots of spices in here (almost going into oregano – cue another Fantôme beer here), smoked, zesty, lemon air refresher, hops, grass, well-carbonated in a fitting way

75cl bottle, bought at the local butcher shop for the Pietrain Association.

14/IV/2012 - 75cl bottle @ home - BB: not indicated on bottle, but according to sebletitje a freshly brewed batch (2012-365) Thanks to sebletitje for sharing the bottle!

Cloudy yellow to orange beer, big off-white head, pretty stable and adhesive. Aroma: very spicy, grassy, fresh cut grass, citrus peel, hint of smoke. MF: good carbon, medium body. Taste: very smoky, little sweet, lots of spices, majory and savory (satureja). Aftertaste: smoke, more spices. I can see this going well with a nice pork chop!

Thanks to Beerlando at Fantômepalooza 2011. Golden pour with thick white head. Spicy herbal notes, oregano and citrus aroma. Minty, dank herbal and bitter spice taste. A bit of a mish mosh of flavors.

75cl green bottle. 2011 vintage. Aroma is grainy and fruity. Tons of grapefruit, really a lot of it. A tad of sweetness and some floral component. Aroma is a completely different beast, and definitely more complex. Starts kind of fruity again, then roasted notes. Coffee and licorica, some woodiness. Then a definite spiciness in the end: black pepper and yeasts. Fabulous. Good carbonation and medium body. This beer is ridicolously drinkable and tasty, complex and great. A unique treat. One of best Fantomes, definitely.

Bottle courtesy of craytonic at the recent Fantome mega-tasting. Served in a Fantome tulip. Reviewed from notes. Pours a slightly-hazy straw color with a good white head and some light lacing. The nose has some slight floral notes with a bit of wheat and fruit behind. The flavor has some wheat and light citrus. Light earth. Light body and crisp carbonation with a very dry finish. Very nice.

Bottle @ Too many Geuze’s - only one toilet , Ulfborg 2012. Pours hazy dark golden with a large creamy white head. Barnyard and orange fruit. Tangerine, green herbs and spices. Oregano Italy dish like. Fresh and fruity and nothing less than odd - not that "were" not used to that!
