Bottle. Green kind of color, whitish head. Sweet green tea leafs, wild strawberry and funky notes in aroma. Some exotic fruits too, maybe some pear as well. Some spicy notes in taste, funkyness and lemon with green tea on the side too. Interesting one, kind of liked it. Citrus sour fruity finish. Thirstquenching material.

75cl bottle from MOMH. Pours bright green, little to no head. Little carbonation. Aroma is enticing mix of lime, tropical fruit and jasmine. Flavour is a mash-up of banana, guava, mango, some cloves, mixed with green tea puckering astringency, finishes super-dry and cheek-sucking astringency. Very hard to drink, we gave up halfway through.

Bottle. Light green, hazy, no head. Moderate, malty - lightly wheaty and dryish aroma, light fruitiness and some citrus with light sourness, faint spiciness (pepper), light herbal hoppyness. Body is medium, malty - lightly wheaty and lightly sweetish flavor, faint fruitiness and light citrus with light sourness, light herbal hoppyness. Finish is average, malty - lightly wheaty and lightly sweetish, faint fruitiness, light citrus and light - some sourness, light - some sharp spiciness, light herbal hoppyness. Nice aroma. Flavor could use something to balance citrus and sourness. BTW, appearance (no head and hazy green) is quite horrible.

Bottle at home. Interesting colour, lime green. Lots of green tea, fruity, light, sugary sweet.

The nose is just unreal, Green Tea indeed. A little herbal, a little bit of sweetness within the aroma as well. A slight haziness to the green body. The beer is green for sure. A beautiful green at that. Minimal head for the style of beer. Lightly Sweet. Crisp, and lively on the tongue. I would call it medium bodied to possibly light. It has a long finish. Overall, Kudos to Fantome for this unique beer. I’ve had the original batch, and this review is in regards to the recent batch. I’ve sought it out multiple times, and will most likely try to acquire more.

Bomber. Thanks to mike12da. Small yeasty nose, with powdery cake mix. Very unusual blue-green color (my pour was from the final third of the bottle; the first pours were much lighter green). Artificial peach initial, green tea harshness as bittering, and small apple juice notes. Bitterness stretches on for some time. Thin body. Unusual mix of flavors. Kinda on the edge of pleasant.

First from this brewery. Fresh fruity aroma and taste. Great beer between these Imperial Stouts etc.

Fantôme has made some pretty deviant saison variations so far, but this tops everything. The head looks like bubble bath foam, very lightly green, thick, sticky and creamy; the beer itself has a purely mint green colour, clear at first but hazy and soupy after adding the deposit. Perfumed nose of green tea, basil, woodruff, soap, grass, mint, lime zest, apple, honey and something weirdly synthetical I can’t quite put my finger on (air freshener, perhaps). Lime fresh onset, sourish, very saison-like with pale malts and strong ethereal spicy effects (mint, Thai basil again, tea); finish dryingly sourish, mild bitter with some warming alcohol. Points for originality. The few really green beers in existence may look off-putting, but if they have this effect on you, try them with your eyes closed, this one isn’t as alienating as it looks.

750mL bottle signed by Dany himself courtesy of a Mississippi friend who went to the brewery. The CRAZIEST, coolest looking beer ever, bright vivid green with a thin white veil of foam. Slight Lactic aroma, with some notes of tea and earth. Light tart citrus, bubbly carbonation. An easy fun drinker.
