4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 presario (4137) - Stampede City, - MAY 10, 2007
UPDATED: MAY 11, 2007 Bottle 14/20. Bought this for $320 Cdn to aid a girl in France? to have surgery for a rare disease. Bid through Babblebelt and Shelton Brothers. Bid in April. Came to USA in the summer. For the $ worried about customs and had it shipped to Washington for Oakes to bring into Canada. Unfortunately DSL lost it and Shelton sent another bottle. Oakes brough it into Canada in December and mailed to Calgary. 13 months later we are at the tasting. One of four empty bottles I am currently saving. 10 minutes to pour due to a giant head. Looks like a cinamon puff pastry on a grey-red-brown liquid. Moderate spice farmhouse aroma. Dark rich herbal spice flavour. A taste I will call dandelion and spice. Surprising spice finish. A very good beer. The ratings may be somewhat inflated due to rarity and cost.

Bottle-huge thanks to FlacoAlto for sharing what could be the most rare beer of all time! however, im not going to rate this beer on its rareness, im going to rate it as it is a beer. dark copper hue with a small fizzy white head. dark fruits on tne nose-plums, brown sugar. lots of black pepper on the flavors with a long sweet finish. really not all that complex of a beer but given its age, im sure i needed a bigger sample than what i had. however, i can say i had this beer!

4.6 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20 dionysus (1443) - Arizona, USA - APR 4, 2011
Bottle generously shared by FlacoAlto at AZRBWG. Pour is hazy copper with a khaki head. Aroma shows notes of black tea, tobacco leaves, lemon zest, dandelion, and some additional herbal/floral qualities. Flavor shows the same with additional notes of onion, white pepper, red apples and a touch of funk. Very pleased to have been able to sample this rarity, thanks Sebas! I never would have guessed the ABV in a million years.
