Light, fruity and champagne-like. Fantôme brews special seasonal beers, never repeating a recipe from year to year. This one is for spring . . .

750 ml bottle at home with the wife. Pours a hazy golden orange color with a medium sized white head. The aroma and flavor have pale malts, grass, hay, yeast, Fantome funk, earthy, white grapes, pear, herbal hops, these beers are always very unique.

UPDATED: JUN 16, 2014 Vibrant clear amber body sits beneath a 2" frothy off white head resultIng in a low lying peninsula and a couple random dots of lace

Balanced piney herbal floral dank peppery melon on a perfectly carbonated silky medium plus actively carbonated palate finishing creamy with sharp complex mostly herbal accents, a little weird and very good

750 ml bottle. Pours a hazy orange colour with a small head. Aroma is very strong with pungent rosemary, some citrus and grass. Flavour is very, very strong rosemary notes, orange peel, some basil, mild graininess, floral bitterness and mild yeastiness. Medium bodied and soft carbonation. Even though the rosemary is extreme, the beer is very well balanced with other flavours. Really fresh as well.

Bottle - Sweet funk, grape and some other herbal notes. Cloudy yellow with a thin head. Funky, herbal and a bit of rubber and a citrus bitter finish.

Belgian yeast, bubblegum, a lot of it, very strong thyme aroma and taste, quite overpowering and very different, a bit hay, a bit grass, but the thyme and spices is waaay to overpowering.

Bottle. Big dense head. Lots of sediment in the bottle. Aroma is very herbal particularly Rosemary. And fresh light grain. Flavor is very herbal but more white bread sweet, aged hops and very piney, lots of Brett funk. Creamy dense feel. Intense in a way, probably a good food pairing, refreshing and great if you know beer by itself.

Bottled. Pours hazy, pale amber with an average white head. Aroma of yeast, oregano, thyme, citrus notes and bread. Sweet flavor that ends up more dry. Medium bodied, watery to oily texture and soft carbonation. A nice Saison indeed.

This saison was a bit too syrupy and sweet for me. It has some good notes but prefer the other fantome to this one
