Hazy yellow with some carbonation and a fast-fading off-white head. The aroma is really great - because at first you think there’s nothing there and then at the end of the inhale it gets citrusy and spicy. Smooth but tart flavor, super smooth over the palate also you would have NO idea that there’s a lick of alcohol in here. solesaver (4), Oklahoma, USA does not count | 4.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 10/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Sep 11, 2009 Have had several of these and always enjoy it. Enjoyed the spicy, fruity aroma with the peach colored pour. The finish is also crisp with more spice tones. Love the labels as well. Thanks Fantome DerWeg (756), Toronto, Ontario, Canada
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Sep 7, 2009 Bottle is defiantly flat, and pours a gungy peach-brown-blonde color with clear highlights and no head. I immediately like the lightly acetic fruity yeasty aroma. The sour fruity flavor has good balance and rewards with dry apricot, tart tropical fruit, ripe organic lemon, balsamic, some clean yeast, and dry Alsatian white pinot noir. A little peppery and some fleeting bubble gum. Incredible feel that maxes out the palate and yet doesn’t overwhelm. I like it. dankman38 (228), Somewhere in, Ohio, USA

| 4.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Sep 1, 2009 Appearance: Pours a hazed, dulled, dark orange body with a tall, finely-textured, white head.
Smell: Very indulgent, richly-scented aroma with notes of ground blended spices, a lightly brine-y mustiness, and fresh-plucked Springtime meadow flowers along with tart-smelling, vibrant citrus and tropical fruits.
Taste: Lightly malty and a modestly robust sweetness underneath the bright, juicy burst of tart Meyer lemon, white peaches, and pineapple fruitiness. Splash of Viognier. Also, the flavor is simply brimming with fresh floral tones. Definite yeasty character to it, though with only a finite amount of mustiness. There’s just a hint of underlying bitterness. Teeny dash of cracked peppercorns. Some puckering acidity all the while. The finish is dry and airy as well as a tad tart.
Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied. Medium-high carbonation.
Drinkability: Not one to miss! Abundantly complex, flavorful, and particularly refreshing (especially considering the 8% ABV). arrogantb (700), Denver, Colorado, USA

This poured a nice golden color with a slight haze to it. The head is close to non-existent, just white wisps on the surface. The smell is glorious fruits like orange peel, spices, this is how I expected VE07 to smell and it let me down. The taste is like lemon zest, pepper, with a slight amount of tart funkiness peeking from the background, excellent.

Bottle at the Where the Wild Beers are event. Murky brownish amber thin white head. Peppery, grassy, lemon. Little thin, lemony, candy – Spree I think. Finishes up lightly, with some dryness.
