Sep 30, 2006 Bottle - 750ml. Hazy blond body with a thin white creamy head. Fresh hoppy aroma with herbal, flowery, and honeyish notes. Texture is soft (very low carbonation) and taste is dominated by hoppy and herbal flavors. Leaves a good bitter/sour aftertaste. Enjoyable Saison.

Sep 23, 2006 Pours very hazy yellow/orange with a small white. Aroma of sweet and sour citrus fruits, spices, and white wine qualities. Flavor follows with nice fruity sweetness taste up front, nice lemon like bitterness in the body which carries into a dry white wine like finish. Alcohol is evident, but I don’t think that’s really ever a bad thing unless it’s too strong or throws off the balance of the beer. Palate is medium, bitter and dry, again like a glass of wine. Glad I was able to find this in NJ. Unique and enjoyable.

Sep 10, 2006 Thanks to Immy for this one. C&C 750. Pours a hazy orange with bubbly tan head. Nose is sour, tart, fruity, and a mild nuttiness. Flavor is sour, wild yeast with a tart finish. Medium palate. Not easily recognizable as a Saison.

Sep 9, 2006 Corked and capped 750. Cloudy golden yellow with an off white head. Sour nose, spicy, some honey. Flavor is hoppier than expected, citrusy, lemony, spicy. Nice dry finish - loved this one!

Sep 5, 2006 Was a little nervous when I opened this- had kind of an old Corona smell to it. But, the off-smell was gone quickly, and what was left was a really good beer. First time for me with the saison style- very much enjoyed this one. Flavors ’danced’ on my tongue- lots of fruit going on here without being too sweet. Would definately have again.

Sep 4, 2006 Pours a deep golden color with a lively head producing a billowy bright white head. Spicy yeast aroma with some mustiness and lemon. Very musty flavor that overpowers in the beginning turning into a lemon spicy flavor by the end of the beer. Some alcohol present throughout. This is definitely a unique beer, but it doesn’t really catch me as something that I’ll be craving.
