4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
750 ml bottle poured a clear gold with a small lingering off whit head. Aromas of straw, pepper, yeast, light earthiness and a hint of citrus. Palate was light bodied and crisp with a dry finish. Flavors of straw, pepper, citrus and light horse blanket with a crisp dry lingering peppery finish.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
75 cl bottle purchased from Etre. Shared at Fantomefest 2014. One of the standouts of the Sante lineup in my opinion. Murky pale orange in color with some soapy bubbles around the ring of the glass. The nose is herbal, spicy, and citric. The flavor is incredibly unique. It starts out herbal and sweet with some honey character, then transitions to some chai spiciness, before concluding with some faint lemon. Moderate mouthfeel with medium carbonation. This one was a winner for me, a very unique beer that I will be purchasing more of. Well done Dany!

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20
Poured into a tulip. Bottled in ’08, so this is getting up in the years.
3.0 A: Well hazed brown tinted yellow color. Two fingers of fizzy white head. Retention is below average and no lacing is left.
3.5 S: This is easily one of the oddest noses I’ve ever smelled. A very potent and equally surprising lemon lime aroma is most apparent. It actually smells a good bit like a lime margarita - even has a tequila note to it. After that there is herbal aloe vera, dirty funk, quince, and some hay. Peppery spice and a mild yeastiness.
4.0 T: Taste is much like the nose. This is a lime margarita flavored saison. Loads of lime and especially the rind, less lemon, tequila. Herbal aloe vera, dirty outdoors funk, hay, peppery yeastiness.
5.0 M: Lighter medium body. Light, spritzy carbonation. Pretty much perfect feel given the flavors. Good creaminess.
4.0 D: This is definitely an oddball, but I appreciate a diversion from the norm every now and then. Must try if you like weird, saisons, or margaritas.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Tasted at RBBWGII - Thanks Eugene! Pours a hazy pale dull yellow color with a small white head. Smells of bitter greens with a slight malt sweetness. Taste is a mix of the malt sweetness, mild bitterness and a slight sourness and lemon drops - quite interesting. Light/medium body with light carbonation. A very interesting and quite tasty brew.

19/I/13 - 75cl bottle @ RBBWG 2013 - BB: n/a (2013-53) Thanks to 77ships for sharing the bottle!
Little cloudy yellow blond beer, small aery white head, unstable, dissipates immediately, some small sediment floating around. Aroma: lots of chloride, citrus, metallic, yoghurt. MF: lots of carbon, medium body. Taste: pretty sour, cheesy, chloride, bitter touch, citrus, bit dirty. Aftertaste: bitter, bit dirty, citrus, dry, metallic, chloride. Wonder where this chloride is coming from...

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
75cl bottle sample @ RBBWG 2013, courtesy of 77ships.

4.7 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 19/20
75 cl. bottle sampled as part of the for me enjoyable & highly brutal Fantôme horizontal @ RBBWG 2013. I knew that this was either going to downright suck or be great given the age. This is what 2008 Vintage? Label is in excellent condition. Pours a hazy golden. Smell is floral, citrus with candy, very floral with some kitchen herbs and black pepper, nectar and soft flowers. Taste is spunky floral, herbal, kitchen herbs and lot of spices blended with sweet candy, caramel, nectar and flowers, Saint-Gilloise type of Hellerthauer, fruity with lemon and quite a bit of biscuit. No unintentional flavours, wonderfully aged. Fun and airy saison. Slight touch fuller body. I almost feel crazy for rating this much higher than every one is & is going to… I enjoyed this one quite a bit. Oh well, I suppose that tastes are personal.
