Thanks Travlr! This beer is straight up weird. Travlr nailed it when he said the descriptor "old sweat." But somehow, it all melded together and the old sweat wasn’t too bad after all. Interesting florals and herbals follow with lots of citrus and nectar. Crazy funk profile!

750mL thanks to Travlr. Pours a cloudy deeper orange with a medium white head. Beautiful color with moderate lace. Nose at first is quite the odd mix: mint, old orange peel, curacao, lemon zest, small caramel, fresh flowers and perfume. Moves to oatmeal maltiness and spearmint. Quite the beautiful nose. Taste is not too sour or even funky, very neutral with a quick lemon finish. Sour oranges, lemon, oatmeal, nectarine skin, lots of Kafir lime character. Lightly tart with a building, fairly intense lactic palate with moderate phlegminess. Very refreshing, easy to enjoy. Later into the experience some herbal hoppy balance comes through. Very good.

Bottle sold with a warning "do not drink." So, of course, like the Marines who were told that Humvees cannot be flipped, we had to try it. As a group. Because of the Air Force motto: "If you’re gonna crash and burn, always fly in formation." Murky orange color, large white head with amazing retention. Aroma of my maternal grandmother’s armpits, but in a good way - lavendar perfume, old woman sweat, and a thin layer of dust. Taste is floral, citrus, perfume, and very subtle and soft funk. A succesfull experiment, I think. If you see no more ratings from us, please call an ambulance.
