[10/4/13] Bottle sample at a tasting at chriso’s place. Hazy orange with a huge white head. Very floral aroma, yeasty, with some fruitiness. Yeasty and spicy flavor, with some flowers, some fruitiness and a bitter finish. Medium-bodied.

75cl bottle. Shared at DSG an jsquire tasting at Chris’. It pours a hazy straw orange colour with a large white head. Big gushers, have glasses ready. Aroma is on the sweet fruity side with loads if peaches. Some violets and grass too. Taste is along the same lines with peaches sweetness, some funk and flowers. Medium bodied with good carbonation. Quite strange bitter-ish finish. Overall, very interesting, strange and enjoyable.

750mL. Pours a full haze glowing dark peach. Huge foam. Not a gusher. Tepid pour still generates a massive off white foam. Huge retention. Nose at first is quite skunky thanks to the green bottle. Reminds me of Saison Dupont. Green apple is in there. At first I got fresh tangerine but it is long gone. Now it’s mostly apple, celery, dusty, perhaps oxidized, Saison Dupont skunk and esters. Taste is just harsher- papery, bland, celery. Mouthfeel is dry, super aerated, but also drained completely. Biting, sharp. Carbonation is excessive, explosive nucleation. Fantome is always hit or miss. This one is a miss.

As it warms, the palate is harsher, sharper, more paper. Couldn’t finish it.

Bottle, bought @ Etre Gourmet, Belgium. Pours light hazy golden with a large, frothy, white head. Good duration. Aroma has lovely peach, crisp malts, funk, apple zest. Medium carbonation, fine dry and quite creamy mouthfeel. Flavour has good fresh orange zest, crisp malts, soft funkiness, lovely elegant fruity. Peach, oranges, grapefruit. Lovely.

Gedronken @ RBESG 13 Grand Tasting, oranje kleur en niet helder, witte schuimkraag, ruikt naar pils, teveel koolzuur, bitter en een beetje fruitig van smaak

Slightly unclear golden colour, white head. Bit sour aroma, lemon, lemon juice and malts. Light sour flavour, malts, hint of citrus. Sour finish, lemon, malts. Quite OK.
(From 75cL bottle @ RBESG 2013 Grand Tasting, Bodegraven. Thanks for sharing, rlgk & Aniela!)
