Bottle. Good hoppy nose: citrus, grass, minerals. Dusty and dry. Bright amber-orange color with a tall, foamy head. Sweet burst of orange in the flavor, then minerals and bitter hops. Dry and dusty, light blanket, with a dry bitter finish. The early sweet fruitiness is a bit strange, but a very fun, tasty beer.

Bottle, 04/23/2013. Pours hazy amber orange, huge rocky head sticks around for ages, thick sticky lacing left behind, active bubble wells from below. Aroma is pale cereal malts, cloud of brett and earthy yeast, citrus fruit, mild orange peel bitterness, pepper, grassy herbs. Taste is citrus, brown sugar, medium bitterness, bit of pepper, light toasted bread, dry finish. Medium palate, bright carbonation. Not terribly funky or sour, but nuanced and nice.

Poured from a 750ml bottle. A big citrusy nose. A big citrusy character, herbal, dusty brettanomyces, soft pilsner malts, citrusy rind. Amazing.

Cloudy gold-orange, off-white head. Pilsner malt, earthy spice, a little lemon, orange-rind. Flavor of bready and cracker-like malt, light spice, orange-rind, finishes with a clean zing. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

THE stout tasting Pt1. Hazy light amber beer. Massive fluffy head that is a kinda cream - apricot colour! Light airy palate, semi dry. A little lactose. Pithy orange bitterness with a trace of grapefruit. Bitter cream soda! Dry finish with a lingering medium bitter aftertaste.

Bottle at The Stouts Tasting Part I, London as a palate cleanser - many thanks to Ken for this obscure offering. Pours cloudy gold with a big, white foam head. Sugary melon aroma, some honeydew. Big sweet flavor with citrusy bitterness, more melon, light orange, light grass. Medium bodied with average, creamy carbonation. Grassy bitter finish with some citrus rind and mellow alcohol. Very decent.
