The Fantome classic. Your out in the country style Belgian saison. Plenty of carbonation to go around. Big grassy citrusy nose. Peach and apricot dotted across the palate as your brain tastes barnyard and hay all over the place. Pleasant peppered spice note buried underneath it all. Lovely lingering finish of spice and grass. Possibly one of the best true saisons out there.

Bottle @ Scott’s Summer Saison tasting. Thanks so much Scott! Bright golden yellow appearance with a small white head. Big peachy, apricot, stone fruity, orange citrusy aroma. Tangy, tart peach/apricot fruity, fairly tart flavor. Quite good.

Pours a hazy gold with a thin head that quickly clings to the glass, great lacing throughout. Aroma of champagne and hay, yeast and funk in the back. Taste follows the nose and more, fruity, tropical fruits with grapes, nice spicy notes, not as funky or sour as expected. Alcohol is not apparent. Smooth and refreshing, amazing saison!

Pours hazy golden with a thick white head that is rather slow to dissipate while leaving a small trace on the glass. Smell is sweet with tropical fruits like pineapple and mango, lemon hard candy, hay, lemon zest, orange zest and subtle hints of barnyard. Taste is sweet, sour and funky with pineapple, passionfruit, apples, lemon juice, lemon zest, dry soil, hay, peaches and hints of caramel and barnyard. Mouthfeel is round, tiny tart and medium bodied. Finish is tiny sweet, dry and tart with lemon zest, peaches, red apples and pineapple.

75 cl. Golden yellow no head. Sour, tropical fruits. To low carbonation. Finishes dry, yeasty. Not a lucky bottle, I will drink again another one.

big rocky head dissipates fast. off-amber hazy dark straw color. aromas of grassy earth, tart citrus and white grape, funky cheese and vomit on the back end. flavors follow aromas, with a pronounced rotting fruit/ vomit thing happening on the exhale. why can no one seem to make a saison below 6%abv?

Murky yellow color, smallish white head. Cheese, fruity, alcohol, swet scent. Spicy, lemon, dough, yeast, alcohol taste. Spritzy mouthfeel, very low bitterness.

30 år surt. Pours hazy golden with a small off white head. Aroma is yeasty buck weed fruity yeasty. Foavor is sour acidy stable fruity malty some bitterness. Finishes sour bitter and fruity.

Even more of tropical fruits in the flavour. Pine-apple-cNdy from the ferry.
