UPDATED: OCT 29, 2015 From Carrefour. In Legado de Yuste glass. Playing Bit Evolution. Pure garbage. Undrinkable. Direct to the sink. Contamined? Makes me appreciate Cruzasco. As its name indicates, its a bad barleywine, a very bad one.

Bottle from Hipercor. Best before 8 3 2016. Amber colour, thin off white head. Nose is sweet malty, caramel, light sour, bit of fruits. Flavour is light sour, malty, light fruity, bit of caramel. Light bodied, especially for a barley wine. Mediocre.

22-AUG-2015, bottle @ Novotel Cornella Barcelona, from Hipocor. Murky brown with a lasting tan head. Aroma is slightly sour. Like an Oud Bruin. Taste still sour. The Barley Wine stuff is there as well. Caramel, bread, dried fruit. Medium+ body, average carbonation. Too bad.

Pinball (11703) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - JUN 20, 2015
clear amber brown, smooth light brown head. flowery, malty, very slightly sourish, aroma, a lot of malts, also a lot of fruits. Flavor is slightly sourish, fruity, some weird bitter notes, and some malts. It does seem like the taste is affected by some mild infection, the beer is surprisingly sourish for a barley wine. That being said, the beer seems to have potential, it is smooth and round and tastes like it has been brewed with care.

330ml bottle. 15-06-2015.
BBD: not noticed, supposed to be within date.
In short: malty ale.
Pours little hazy amber with nice off white head. Short head retention, poor lacing. Malty, caramel, raisins, liquorice nose. MEdium body, average carabonation, litle crispy texture. Taste is sweet, caramel, ripe fruit, raisins. A bit light bodied for a full barley wine.

Cobriza de espuma banquecina no muy abundante. Aroma no muy marcado, malteado algo licórico. Buena en boca, bien de cuerpo y gas. Sabor a azucar tostada bien presente. Y aunque el dominio es claro de las maltas, hay algo de contrapunto lupulado herbal y levadura que matiza algo el conjunto. En cualquier caso está buena. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

UPDATED: JUN 10, 2015 Pours a pale brown colour, like dirty water, samall head that does not hol, poor lace. Smell of some chocolate, but mostly someting like vinegar, sour. Thin palate, low body. Tste of something fruit in the back, but mostly again sour and vinegar. I thought I had a bottle in bad conditions, but reading other opinions, make me reassure it’s just simply that bad.

33cl bottle. Cloudy pale brown colour with a tan head. Poor retention. Sour, tart, vinegar and malts in the aroma. Soft to average carbonation and medium body. Taste was like a weird oud bruin or a ruined lambic. Overall, clearly contaminated.
