Another great on from Fargo brewing. Had this on tap at JL beers in Fargo. Pours a see through dark brown colors with a nice thick white head that leaves a nice creamy white ring. Smell is of sweet malt caramel and with some nutty smell. The taste is very smooth up front it’s malty and carbonated with a very sweet nutty after taste. Well done again keep it up guys!!!

Bottle: Clear amber pour with a finger of creamy beige head that fades quickly. No real lacing to speak of. At first, the aroma seems boring; bready malt and a little metallic. As it warms the peat and light florals come through... going from bland to pretty nice. Dry taste is bready, peat, and florals. A little caramel too. Clean finish.

Can courtesy of schmidtguy. Light bland malt aroma. Clear amber with a moderate ivory head. Light earthy caramel malt, tannic, and slightly bitter flavor. Light body, moderate carbonation.

Bottle. Lactic chocolate malt aroma. Brown with moderate head. Light lactic chocolate malt flavor. Earthy finish. Okay - very light.

Courtesy QueenHolly: Nearly clear, cola brown, short, tan head. Scent is earthy malt. Very bland...weak, earthy, malty. A strange "Brown" sort of flavour...odd benign bittering. Not exactly pleasant.

Deep reddish brown, not much head. Smells like coffee, with some earthy, syrupy notes. Taste is rich and earthy, with some burnt toast, some peat, and a lightly astringent finish.

On tap. Clear brown pour with a light tan head. Aroma is mostly just malt. A bit of caramel. Really innocuous beer. Not a lot of personality. I’d use this one as a gateway beer for a non-beer drinker.

Very malty, and almost no hops. Nothing overtly offensive, just nothing to grab onto.

Draft. Cloudy briwn color, small but thick tan head, solid lacing. Aroma of toasted caramel. Taste is very malty caramel, brown bread, black pepper.

Growler from JL Beers Fargo. Not much of an aroma. Some roasted malt in the nose. Clear dark brown body with thin off white head. Not much lace. Malty flavor profile. Better when I had it cold and fresh out of the tap earlier today and was impressed with Fargo’s porter as well. Above average.
