Patterned after the rich, smooth, malty ales of Scotland, Stoneís Throw is dominated by caramel toffee, toasty malt, hints of cocoa, residual honey sweetness and just enough hops to keep this rock on the button. The perfect brew for someone new to craft beer. Cheers, skip!

Another great on from Fargo brewing. Had this on tap at JL beers in Fargo. Pours a see through dark brown colors with a nice thick white head that leaves a nice creamy white ring. Smell is of sweet malt caramel and with some nutty smell. The taste is very smooth up front itís malty and carbonated with a very sweet nutty after taste. Well done again keep it up guys!!!

Can from dresden-- thanks for the North Dakota tick Steve! Medium red-brown, light gold head that fades quickly. Sweet burnt sugars and brewers mash, very very thin. This tastes like a poorly executed home brew. Not undrinkable, but not very good either.

Thanks to eaglefan538, my best buddy, for this state tick. Itís a pretty blue can. Okay. Thatís all I can say good. It pours a honey chestnut brown. It smells like artificial caramel flavoring. The taste is malty and nutty and some really off cocoa like flavors. Itís watery. Itís just not good at all. Thereís nothing HORRIBLY offensive...I mean, I can finish it. But itís probably the worst level of beer that I could actually finish without drainpouring. Whatís that? 2.1 sounds about right...?

Can at Chateau Jackl, big thanks to Jacquiline for State tick #46, 13/08/14. Amber with a moderate light beige covering. Nose is light butterscotch, toffee, bready vibes, dark fruit notes. Taste comprises bready malt, bread pudding, toffee, dark fruit notes, light vanilla. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Ok for style and definately the best beer Iíve ever had from North Dakota!!!

Can via trade. Light brown with a small head. Strong caramel, a bit of peaty cocoa, light raspberry chocolate brownie. The taste is actually pretty nicely balanced. Toasted brown bread and caramel. Accents of peppery hops. Glazed donut sweetness. Medium body, soft carbonation. Nice.

Can shared at Casa Lowrey. Pours clear amber-gold with a foamy white head. The nose has toasty bred, caramel, toffee, dried fruits. Medium sweet flavor with brown bread, toasty caramel, light smoke. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Sweet finish, further bready malts and dry toffee, some currants, slight earth. Not bad.

From can. Orangey brown pour. Aroma of cocoa and toasted notes and caramel. Flavor followed with bready and nutty and vegetable notes all in there. Meh. Pretty not good. Mouthfeel was light and thin and watery. Bad overall beer and of the supposed style.

Pours a medium brown with quickly fading head leaving nothing left and no lacing. Aroma is sweet malts, nutty with wheat bread and honey. Taste is mild roast, mild overall. Not offensive, but nothing noteworthy going on here.

Can from Dresden, thanks buddy! Dark brown butterscotch pour, nice hue go creamy white head. Aroma, light malts, and aluminum. Taste, fairly carbonated, bready grains, bit of soapy aftertaste. Overall, not sure what they were going for here but this is a pretty tasteless brew (other than the soapy finish), down the drain she goes.
