COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This classic American IPA showcases an aromatic, bold hop flavor. Horizon hops and oats provide a sleek, velvety body and balanced bitterness while two pounds per barrel of dry hopping offer initial waves of citrus and pine. We’d give our left foot for another pint!

12oz picked up in a great trade with Jake65... Thanks buddy!!. Pours a pretty clear orange brew with a nice white head and drapes of white lacing. The nose leans toward a biscuity maltiness balanced by a good citrus/floral hoppiness. Flavor mirrors the nose with a nice bitter follow-through on the finish. Body and carbonation are both fine. Thanks again Jake!!

Can. The beer is fairly light amber in color. Moderate haze. Medium-sized white head. Good amount of lacing, fine retention. The aroma has some decent tangerine and mango upfront but there’s a deeper, less pleasant hop flavor below that. Big pine resin and a bit too much onion. Mild pepper, a little grass, some floral flavor, mild raspberry. Not bad. Taste is a step back, unfortunately. Big and bland pine resin bitterness. Plenty more onion, as well. Long grapefruit rind and pine finish. The sweeter hop flavors are quite mild here. Fairly dry. Only medium bitterness but lacking in complexity and good hop flavors. Mouthfeel has only mild creaminess, which is a surprise. Fairly light body.

Pours marmalade, medium eggshell head. Aroma of pine, bread. Taste is pretty well balanced but weak and one dimensional for an IPA. Not much to make me want more.

12 oz. can via trade. Pours a cloudy orange gold with a smallish white head that settles into an uneven ring and island of film, leaving a good amount of lace on the insides of the glass. Notes of orange citrus, wildflowers, pine, grass, celery, pale and sweet malts, tea with lemon, and light resin. Light-bodied, with medium-plus carbonation and a clean, citrusy, lightly bitter mouthfeel. Good IPA. Grew on me after a few minutes.

Clear brilliant golden with a thin bust lasting rocky white cap. Amazing fresh floral and leafy hop nose with vibrant fresh lupulin oils and resins. Crisp big flavor with biscuity caramellish pale malt, loads of floral and leafy resins, a touch of grapefruit rind and a crisp, piney resiny finish. Really pleasant and restrained enough in bitterness to let the NW hops shine through.

Aroma - some pine in the nose. Appearance - very hazy single orange body. With a lot of nucleation. The head is 2" and white. Taste - has a mix of pine and floral quality hops. The malt is a crystal malt. Palate - medium body, thin and somewhat oily texture. The carbonation is average, the finish is bitter. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Can acquired as part of a beer sampler Christmas gift. Poured into a pint glass with a Lakefront Pumpkin Lager label. Color is a kind of hazy, light orange with a golden tinge. Lighter than other IPAs. Frothy white head initially that dissipates rather quickly. Nose feels rather typical of an IPA with citrus and pine hoppy notes and a little bit of a floral quality. Taste has a healthy dose of citrus as well with grapefruit prominent and a bitter pine resin finish. Slightly oily mouthfeel. Nothing really stands out about this option but it’s drinkable. First RateBeer entered beer from my home state. Happy it’s not terrible as my expectations of beer produced in ND were pretty low.

12 Fl. Oz. Can. Poured cloudy, golden with a nice off white head and nice lacing all over the glass. Aroma of grapefruit, hops, and some malts. Taste is slightly bitter and hoppy, lots of fruit notes, well balanced with malts. Very good IPA; quite enjoyable.

12 oz can. Slight hops in the nose. Taste bitter with slight maltyness. Could use more hop profile in my opinion.

12 ounce can into tulip glass, purchased at the brewery on 11/13/2015. Pours lightly hazy golden amber color with a 1-2 finger fairly dense off white head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings around the glass. Aromas of big grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, peach, mango, melon, lemon zest, orange peel, citrus rind, pine, light caramel, toasted bread, and floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of bright citrus/tropical/piney hops and moderate bready malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, peach, mango, melon, lemon zest, orange peel, citrus rind, pine, light caramel, toasted bread, and floral/grassy earthiness. Good amount of pine/citrus rind bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, peach, mango, melon, lemon/orange peel, pine, light caramel, toasted bread, and floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Outstanding complexity, robustness, and balance of bright citrus/tropical/piney hops and moderate bready malt flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Moderate amount of dryness from bitterness as well. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, moderate sticky/resinous, and creamy/bready balanced mouthfeel that is great. Alcohol is very well hidden with only a slight warmth lingering after the finish. Overall this is an outstanding IPA. All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of bright citrus/tropical/piney hops and moderate bready malt flavors; and very smooth and easy to drink. A highly enjoyable offering.
