COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Cask; Regular. Also available bottle conditioned in 500ml bottles.
A golden beer to rival any other on the bar. Light and refreshing with a citrus (some say grapefruit!) note. We use a true English hop, the East Kent Golding, and in great abundance too. This is our best selling beer.
Ingredients: Lager malt. Goldings hops.

Cask, gravity at a pre-Candleford Beer Festival tasting 09.06.11 many thanks to John, Roger & all of the organisers for inviting me over Simple straightforward golden beer, looks great with a nice white bubbly head. Aroma is faint but light fruity and malty, there is a nice creamy vanilla flavour running through this. Pleasant simple beer. A6 A5 T7 P3 Ov13 3.4

Cask at the Crosse Keys, JDW. Clear yellow pour with almost no head. Faint aroma, bits of straw. Decent flavor, reasonably sweet, plenty of straw and cereal, some lagerishness in there, mildy bitter. Light bodied with soft carbonation. Pretty well balanced by the time the finish comes around. Some nice crackery malts and straw hops. Some faint soap, but no biggie. Decent.

Bottle 50 cl. Courtesy of madmitch76. Pours a cloudy yellow with a dense white head. Sweet, fruity nose - with a distinctive touch of Brett! Medium body, sweet fruit and dry and astringent Brett accents. Ends dry. Almost a mini-Orval! A lovely infection. 010910

Cask@GBBF2010. Yellowish golden colour, small white head. Aroma is fruits, wood, nectar and some mild spices. Flavour is fruits, nectar, mild earth as well as mildly yesty. Nicely balanced otherwise, but the yeastyness ruins it a bit.
