Cask (gravity dispense) at Chelmsford Winter Beer Festival, 4 February 2010. Reddish copper colour. Definitely spicv but not too extreme. Good plummy fruit. Comes over more as a bitter with a twist than a full on spiced or fruit beer. Which is not necessarily a bad thing. Good if a touch unspectacular.

Bottle. Pours a pale amber color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity spicy plum aroma. Sweetish malty spicy fruity plum flavor. Has a sweetish fruity malty spicy finish.

Bottle 500ml.

Clear medium to dark amber color with a small, virtually none lacing, fully diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted - caramel, spices, plum, prune notes. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and light bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is flat to soft. [20110219]

Bottle at yespr. Hazy orange brown coloured with no head. Sweet and spicy aroma of prunes. Fruity flavour of spices, prunes and caramel with acidic notes. Spicy finish.

Bottled. A hazy dark amber beer with no head. The aroma has notes malt, plums, and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, caramel, and plums.

Bottle 50 cl. Courtesy of madmitch76. Pours an almost clear amber with no head. A little X-mas spice and overripe fruit in the nose. Medium body, completely flat, roast, caramel and overripe fruit. A slight underlying tartness. 190211

Bottled. Amber coloured. Unclear. Small off white head. aroma of plums, sweetness, spice, Flavour of light plums, dust, light spice. Thin bodied. Has a fruity end.

50 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden orange to brown with no head. Aroma is fruity, light plum. Bitter, caramelish and light fruity. Light bitter and malty finish.
